The forgotten Part 4
The glass suddenly shattered as the shudder of the sudden roar rang out shaking the car back, people screaming as gun shots continued. Eric curled up he crouched low covering his ears from all the noise just wanting it to end. He felt he had lost all hope and knew he was trapped there was no possible way he could survive. More gun shots rang out as the monster roared out louder the optical hand moves closer and closer giving a sudden tense. A sudden jolt of the door opening made Eric suddenly turned he looked behind him seeing the cop who put him in the car in the first place. Without any sudden words Eric leaped out of the car running as fast as his legs could go. Eric ran further and further away from the car not looking back scared and frantic. A quick sudden voice called out to him “Eric!!!!!” Eric stopped suddenly and quickly turned seeing Jonathon and Elena standing close to an ambulance getting ready to leave his heart suddenly jumped for joy as he took a step towards them. Suddenly A huge slam to the ground with a huge explosion made his friends turn and scream in horror. Eric turned slowly to see in time the police car he was in was now in flames and under the monster’s giant optical hand. A puddle of blood ran down the street it came out from underneath one of the fingers which killed Eric’s savior.
Eric eyes widen as he screamed out no why didn’t he run? Why did the man stay? Why did the man who saved his life have to die? Sadly the officer who saved Eric’s life was quite unfortunate. The man was trying to save Eric and other officer’s time. As he stood there continuing to shot at the monster distracting it before it slammed its hand onto him. The officer was quite glad he was able to save the young boy’s life, but in doing that he ended up sacrificing his own. Eric stood there wondered over and over again why? Why would anyone risk their life for his own life? Eric couldn’t understand the reasons of why this was happening and why was this monster after him of all people. A sudden cry from Elena shook Eric quickly back to reality as he turned to his friends wondering what was happening now. As he turned it was the slowest slow motion his eyes have ever seen as he turned. His suddenly eyes widen seeing his friends slowly vanish before his eyes as if they were turning invisible. The ambulance his friends were getting in then suddenly without warning exploded sending Eric back onto the bushes of the school’s ground. A sudden ringing in his ears went off in his head from the sudden explosion. Eric’s body was only cut, bruised and scraped from the impact of the bushes other than that he was just fine. Eric stayed laying there in the bushes dazed wondering what the heck had happen as he awaken he noticed that the place where his friends were before, was now only a bomb shell look. Eric started to yell out for his friends worried and scared wondering what had happen to them. But then he heard a very loud screeching coming from the monster and suddenly remembered it. He looked around for it quickly and found it at the same spot it was before, as Eric looked up at it. Eric then quickly noticing it was looking around as if it were trying to find something or someone like Eric. For now Eric really had to worry about his friends latter, for now Eric had to only worry only about himself. He had to live, hide and lay low until the military can come to the rescue and kill this monster before any more lives could be lost.
Eric got up slowly and looked around for some place to hide he looked at the school thinking it was the only best place for now he ran toward it hopping the beast wouldn’t notice him. A sudden loud sonic boom of air jets race over a sudden screech and explosion rang through the air Eric turned in time to see the impact of the sudden missiles hitting the monster. Eric sighed in relief thinking it’s over as the monster fell down crushing the outside gate of the school. But a sudden shiver went through his body as he saw the creature’s eyes suddenly turn to him. Its arms pushed itself off the ground slowly its left optical hand reaches towards Eric as its mouth opened roaring. “Run you nut head!” Eric herd, he took the advice quickly turning he ran into the schools hall. The banging and clawing gave Eric the idea of the monster was following him. The roof started shaking as Eric turned to see the Monster was now moving quickly breaking the roof of the hall way. Eric continued to run seeing almost the end of the hall, suddenly the roof started crumbing down onto him leaving him in darkness and without hope.
