Chapter Four
The Quest


Wesley took me to the main cabin. "Jake is here, as you asked." He said. A shadow in the back of the room spoke. "Ah, yes. Jake. The Silver Moon mage. His father..." Wesley butted in. "Yeah, it's pretty crazy. My friend, the son of---" "Do not say his name yet. Jake shall find out who his father is after the quest." The shadow said. "Hey, what?! After?! Come out so I can smash you to---" I yelled. "No Jake!" Wesley said. I stopped. "Come out, show him who you are, Chuxon."(Chucks-on) He came out. Or, rolled out should I say. It was...well, wierd. A man with curly black hair. His legs were normal. His feet---well, they were, uh, weels. Chuxon got impatient. "Your quest is to get Cooper back here. Change his ways. Do not let him go past the mage line, into the open world. Krosu may claim him. Cooper is too good of a mage to be lost." Cooper was another good friend. His twin brother, Kyle, wasn't mentioned though. "Cooper?" I asked. "What did he do?" Wesley looked at me like I was stupid. "He left his brothers and sisters, not to mention all the mages, and took the last of our nectar. But not selfishly, just to keep him safe." Cooper wasn't going to be evil. Well, he didn't act like it. I liked the quest. "I'm not going to let him go. I can't." I said. Kyle ran in. Surprisingly, he was wearing a Silver Moon Tunic. He wasn't my brother. Not even my cousin. But if he was a Silver Moon, so was Cooper. And worst of all---his sisters were too. Kayla and Karli. "Jake! You made it! And you're a Silver Moon!" Kyle said. "What about Kayla and Karli?" I asked, hoping he woun't say Sliver Moon. "They are Sacrid Forest Mages." Kyle responded. "And the quest, don't forget I'm going, Chuxon."
