My son loves to play CSS, or CS (Counter Strike), it seems he mostly plays the office, or the zombie map. He can play this game for hours on end, without moving from my chair, and my computer.
Yes, I let him use my computer, since it has the best processor, video card, and 4gb of Ram. The game runs great, hardly ever lags, just like him. He has fought against terrorists by the bus load, and gets more kills, then I ever will in one game!
The only problem is that he is so focused, when you ask him something, the response is always something to the effect of, "one second", well that one second hardly ever comes around, until he stops playing.
The shear nature of the games design is to engross you to the point, of being totally focused on it. It's a fast paced hunt down for him, but there are other tactics you can use. One such tactic is the camp and snipe, but he doesn't have the patience for that, LOL! He is always the first one through the door, or the first one to lead a base rush.
He hardly gets to play, so I let him go for a few hours, and then have to "pry" ..jk.. his fingers off of the mouse to stop him from playing.
