The Dragon With the Cat


"So.... now that I'm 'wise'"-Jake looked at the open door-"does that mean---" Jake stopped. A slight breeze blew through the door. "Summer breeze?" Kyle asked. It was in the middle of Summer---Why was it windy? "No, it can't be. Tell Chuxon." Cooper said. "Kay'" I said. In the main cabin, Kyle and I told Chuxon about the wind. "What should we do 'bout it, Chuxon?" I asked. BANG! The door swung open and hit the wall "Chuxon!" Ian and Avery yelled at one time. "I know, I know." Chuxon said in his relaxing voice. "The tree's spirit has been awakened. Soon, the dragon and the cat will be summoned." Chuxon said. "Ehh... this guy?" I asked. I pointed to the green dragon flying near my shoulder. "G-G-Gwee! No! He cannot---SHALL not be unleashed! His power could destroy this camp! The world, if he tried!" Chuxon said, not so relaxed. "Dude, chill." Kyle said. "Ah, yes. 'Chill'.... your slang bothers me so," Chuxon said, "And 'dude' bothers me just as much---possibly more!" Chuxon said. "What are you? Dude, are you like, from the 90's or something?" Avery asked. "No," Chuxon added, "From 1286." Ian stared. "1286! What the heck?" A cat purred at the door. "Kaya! No!" Chuxon said, "The universe is in THEIR hands!"
