And yes it's freaking annoying. I don't like having to pay 30% more for my items either but, all the people talking about Gaia not being free anymore, just shut up. It's not like other sites that make you pay to access certain features or portions of the site you just can't have certain pixel outfits...OH NO! my collection of pixels is lacking! It's surely unfair that someone willing to pay for pixel's had better pixel's than I do *cries in corner* seriously. These items don't do anything for us that might change later with the battle system a bit but, currently they're just pixel outfits people. No ogne has an unfair advantage. There's nothing to have an advantage at mini Nightmare wins don't make you win at slots and an angelic scarf doesn't make you fish any more effectively. You can make just as many posts and meet just as many people wearing freebies and starter clothes.
The ONLY thing you can possibly whine about is avi design contests and the avi arena. But, you know what you're getting into when you enter them and besides your award is gold...that gold they already have by buying the bags with the coins in them...right..
Seriously I understand some of the complaints, I don't like how Gaia is getting more and more focused on the pay to play aspects but, on the other hand it isn't like not paying is preventing anyone from accessing anything on the site. If that happens it's a complete different ball game but, until them. I just think the complaints are pretty silly. And really if you're upset that you're not longer "better" than someone else because you spent more time on th site than they did. Maybe you should reevaluate your priorities.

Think about the bass thing recently. I made 70K because I worked at it (and the current blue bass craze) but still. It wasn't "free".
Gaia does have every right to charge as they pay for the servers.
