The constant question. Only in Question and Assistance forum.


Oh you brave brave nights of Gaia, I'm speaking of those who answer questions in the Q&A Forum. One would think this is a simple place where all answers are given. Well a it's not so easy. A lot of questions come there, from 'how do I post a picture' to 'Where can I get a mod for a glitch.' If there is a problem on Gaia it's been noticed and posted on this forum spot.
For those of you who need questions answered please...I beg of you don't go gallivant off and create your own thread speaking of your issue. Creating a thread on the Q&A should be your .last resort. to solving your problem. First look through the Stickies and announcements if your problem is more wide spread than you think. If not there look though all of the threads already created. Most of the time I come on the Q&A and I see five threads all asking the same question. This clutters the thread and keeps people from helping other users on a mass scale. If your question isn't brought up at all then place a thread on the forum. Please make your question clear and make sure to note what sort of question it is in the main title. Why? So specialists in that specific question can help. Once your question is solved then make sure to change the title of your thread to 'solved' or
'thanks' this tell us your problem is fixed and we can help others.
Don't go thinking that the people that ask questions make all the problems. People you might think you can solve all the problems in the world so you run off to the Q&A to prove yourself. Some people get this weird thought that rich people only answer at the Q&A and they want to be rich so that means they should answer questions. Ah no, that's isn't the way things work. People answer questions because they know the answer and that's it. If you don't know the answer then don't post, it’s simple.
All around Q&A is not a place to Spam, now I know a lot of people don't know what Spam means on Gaia. Off the topic posting in the Q&A is counted as spam. Now if you say 'hello how are you' you have just spamed, anything you post .must. relate to the question or topic stated in the title of the thread itself. If the question is answered than you move on.
For those who do provide answers to those inquisitive Gaians on a regular basis, thank you! Thank you thank you thank you thank you, you my friend take so much stress off of mods! You deal with question after question and most of the time it's the same question. You kindness in helping others on Gaia makes the society turn more smother than ever before. I only wish that you keep doing the things you do.
