In between jobs and friend-time, I still have lots of leftover time to read. So here are Winward's summer picks, along with a rating 1-10! biggrin
The Battle of the Labyrinth/ Rick Riodan: 7 smile Good book of a very good series. It is an awesome storyline but the reading level is low, some characters seem flat, and some situations are too easily avoided. But all-in-all, the excellent story makes up for it. Young Adult.
Heat Stroke/ Rachel Caine: 8 3nodding Another series title. Awesome storyline, great characters, and just enough sarcasm in the writing to really crack me up. The only downside is that some of the events aren't explained (as in, they happen but the reader is unsure of how they happen). Sci-Fi/Fantasy.
I had this all updated but must not have saved it right so I'll just write down the books for now and maybe add some reviews later...
