New Years:
Everyone in the Sereitei had the day off because they are going to have a huge New Years party. It was formal one so they weren’t aloud to where there shinagami uniform.
Hianmori Momo was recently made captain of the fifth division due to her gaining her bankai and saving her division from a terrible fate. She was still in her office doing paper work. She wasn’t getting ready yet. She let her fukutaicho Yamashi Nami go early. Momo finished her paper work, and she picked it up and walked out of her office. She was carrying a bunch of paper work.
“Hinamori” a familiar voice called her name. She couldn’t see she tripped. Someone caught her “Momo you’re such a cults.”
“Hitsugaya-kun” she said blushing a bit.
“Baka Hinamori. We have off today. Why are you bringing your paper work in?” He was holding her in his arms. He was now about four inches taller then her.
“DON’T CALL ME A BAKA” she said. She looked at him. He looked different. He was dressed in formal clothes. It was an aqua kimomo (the male ones).
Hitsugaya final set her down on her feet “get ready I’m taking you to the festival.” He said taking her paper work and brought it into her office and set it on her desk. “Now go get ready before I change my mind bed-wetter.”
“Don’t call me that or I will call you shiro-chan for the rest of your life.” She looked at him and crossed her arms.
“Fine now get ready Momo” he smiled at her “Is that better?”
“Yes it is.” She walked into her room and but on her autumn leaf winter kimono. It is gold cream and brown. She came out her hair her hair out of her bun. “Hitsugaya-kun how do I look”
He looked at her and smiled. “You look beautiful” he walked over to her and offered her his arm and they walked to the festival together.
Once they got there it looked like a fair. There were all these games to play, food to eat and rides. Later that night there will be fire works once the New Year comes in. Momo’s eyes lit up. She started to drag the tenth squad taicho along. She wanted to do absolutely everything. She pulled him over to a game. “OOooo shiro-chan lets try this one”
“Nani” he looked at the game and notice she probably chose it because she thought the prize was cute. It was a polar bear.
“Would you like to ply and win this pretty young lady a prize” the man in the booth said.
Hitsugaya handed him some money and was ready to play. The object of this game was to knock all the bottles down to win the polar bear. The man gave him three balls Hitsugaya threw one and got all three bottles down in one hit. The man handed him the bear and Hitsugaya handed it to Momo. “Here Hinamori” he blushed a bit.
“Thank you shiro-chan” Momo hugged him “I love it” She grabbed his arm again and pulled him over to where his fukutaicho was Matusmoto Rangiku. “Rangiku-chan” Momo gave her friend a hug.
“Momo-taicho” she hugged her back.
“Rangiku you don’t have to call me that. You’re my friend you can call me Momo-chan” she smiled and looked at Hitsugaya. “Shiro-chan do you want to eat or go on the rides first.”
“Lets eat Momo” he smiled
.
“Ooo taicho are you two on a date” she asked bugging them.
“Maybe” he smirked and took Momos are and walked to the food stands “Ok Momo what would you like. Were not getting everything Momo that’s too much food.”
“Hi sir” she walked up to the food stand “I would like four slices of pizza, two lemonades, and one large fries.” Momo handed the man the money. Once the food was ready Momo carried over to where Hitsugaya was sitting. “Ok I go two slices of pizza for the two of us. I got the fries for us to share and I got two lemonades.” She smiled and sat down across from him. “Eat up Hitsugaya-kun” Momo took a bite of her pizza and smiled with enjoyment.
Hitsugaya took a bite of pizza and smiled. He reached for a French fry at the same time as Hinamori. The looked at there hands and turned away, moved there hands and blushed. “You take one first Hinamori”
In the distance Kira , Hisagi, and Renji were spying on them. Kira looked jealous because he liked Momo as well. Hisagi had a camera in his hand thinking that this will be a perfect article and picture for the next shinagami magazine. He can see it now the Fifth squad-taicho Hianmori Momo was on a date with tenth squad-taicho Hitsugaya Toushiro during the New Years festival. Renji wasn’t really watching her was thinking how he can get Rukia to notice him.
Once they finished eating it was starting to get dark so they decided together to go on the ferries wheel. It is one of those outside ones where your feet hang. Momo and Hitsugaya got on the ride and as it started to move it began to snow. Momo leaned on Hitsugaya because she was getting cold. HE put an arm around her and pulled her close to keep her warm. Hinamori blushed.
“Thanks Shiro-chan I was cold your so caring towards me and I like it that way” Hitsugayas face turn completely red.
Matsumoto was watching through banoculars. She and Hisagi are planning on putting Momo’s and Toushiro’s date in the next’s shinagami magazine along with a picture of Nanao Ise and Shunsui Kyoraku on a date.
"Rangiku what do you see” asked Hisagi.
“Momo and Hitsugaya are cuttling on the ferries wheel. How kawii taicho. Kiss her already.” She said. Hisagi wrote this down as she said it.
“This will make the front page.” He smirked, “Now my assistant can I buy you some Saki. He offered Matsumoto his arm.
"Yes you can my evil sidekick” Rangiku took his arm that he offered. Matsumoto kept thinking of Gin she still loved him. He was being put on trial and Aizen was still out there some where but he is currently very weak. Tousen Kaname is also being put on trail.
The ferries wheel stop at the top and Momo tightened her grip on Hitsugaya. She also buried her face into Hitsugayas chest. The fire works were starting in five minutes. The people who ere controlling the rides stop moving them so Hinamori and Hitsugaya are stuck at the top. The best places to watch the fireworks, people below were counting. “FIVE FOUR THREE TWO ONE.” The fire works started to shoot off.
“Hinamori look” Hitsugaya lifted her chin and pointed up to the fire works. They both smiled at each other. The both blushed.
“Shiro-chan” Momo leaned closer to him and rested her head on his shoulder,
“What bed-wetter.” He looked at her with a smirk.
“Well on New Years aren’t you supposed to Kiss the person who you spend it with or is it something like a friend or a family member because I don’t really know the rules to well do you.”
“Baka shut up” she lifted her chin and kissed her softly on the lips. They both didn’t want it to stop. They both saw a camera flash but they didn’t care. They ferries wheel started to move again and they pulled away from the kiss. Momo’s face was completely red. They got off the ride and Hitsugaya walked Hinamori back to the fifth.
She was about to enter when her grabbed her wrist and pulled her into another soft kiss. “Night Momo sweet dreams.” He kissed her on the forehead.
“Night shiro-chan” she hugged him and walked into her division.
