Can sunk back into the pool as she continued facing my backpack. There was a harsh breeze coming from my backpack, so I began inching towards it to see where the breeze had come from.
"CHI! NO!" Canaidea grabbed my arm as I started toward the roses when I saw the rose's petals extending and dark figures coming out of the center of the rose.
We floated with our mouths dropped until it clicked that we needed to get away from those roses, and FAST!
"Now!" I shouted over my shoulder and snatched BahBoh in his jar, motioned for DiSpo to follow me, and latched onto Moshimaru, who was hovering above the water. Canaidea clutched Bian tightly as began swimming furiously towards the other side of the spa. Haritsuki gathered Cola in one arm and swung the straps of her White Drome Egg over her shoulder. Can took hold of Hari's free arm and began pulling her as fast as she could to the other side.
"GOGOGOGOGOGOGO!!!" All of us kicked as hard as we could until I hit the side of the pool and lifted myself out of it.
"Thanks Moshimaru. I really needed to be bruised today."
*GASP*GASP*GASP*
"Soooo tired! I*GASP* swam so *GASP* fast!*GASP*" Hari choked out.
I bent down to help Can out of the pool, trying hard not to slip back into the pool. I glanced back at the other side and saw purple fire speeding towards us, and it was coming fast.
"Aw man!" I didn't have my lucky yari with me, and I seriously didn't feel like fighting off flaming demons today.
"FWOOOM!"
"A bat? It's a bat...um..."
Two bats fluttered around Can and I, then I realized that Hari had left a long time ago. Slowly turning away from the bats I caught Hari tiptoeing out of the back door, then sprinting towards the house.
"Good idea. CAN! Let's GO!" I shouted over my shoulder as I started running towards the back door too.
"WHAAAA!"
A purple flame had gone straight through Can's chest and now was forming at her feet. Wait, was that a heart?
Can burst past me, the flame following her.
"Water! Jump in the pool!" I called to her..
"SWOOOSH!"
Can emerged with a bat over her head too. She rolled her eyes and shrugged.
"I guess these are our new evolving creatures?"
"I believe you guessed right. So we get to update the chart then?"
"YES!"

Chiharu's Life: Raising Evolving Items, but, they're my family...
It's my job, but I love every part of it...except some parts. You see, working with evolving creatures is fun, but can be dangerous. But who cares about that? All I know is that there are adventures out there and we're going to have them!
