Finally all three of you stand before us, we have been waiting on you for a very long time. But we stayed here guarding the room of the elemental goddesses, for over 1000 years. “What actually happened?” My brother Dante asked. He was my height very broad shouldered and had guns slung onto his belt. His platinum hair fell haphazardly on his shoulders, his green eyes shined with determination. I looked to my left and noticed that my sister, Rayne, looked like she did the day I left over 1000 years ago. Her platinum hair was almost as long as mine but not quite. Unlike me and my brother she was slender, built like a true assassin, just by looking at her I could feel the raw power flowing through her veins. But I also noticed that she carried no visible weapons, she wore a silver bracelet and had a black spiral on her arm that I was unfamiliar with. I looked back to Cuchillian, he began to speak again.
After you left Rael, the city gates were destroyed as hundreds of people of all different nations stormed the city. The elemental children defeated all the guardians with great ease. They defeated the demons and made their way to the center of the city. At that point Ultima ordered all the Advent Children to leave before anymore casualties occurred. At one time hundreds of portals appeared, and they scattered across the worlds and nations. Before too much longer they had made it to the room where the Seraph Blade was kept. Using a magic very ancient in origin, they removed all the magic from the powerful blade. They split the power up into four glowing orbs, calling each a Star that would support their peoples for centuries to come. And they left as fast as they came.
Finally my sister spoke. “Then we must find the Stars and bring them back here to give their power back to the Seraph Blade. The question is how are we supposed to find the Stars, we don’t even know what world the elemental children came from.” Confidence oozed from her voice as she spoke. Dante furrowed his brow, and thought for a moment. “Maybe the Star of the Water is in the Ancient city of water. The ancient texts stated that the water children come from a city called Lemuria. In the ancient sea in a completely different world. Maybe we can open a portal to that world and storm Lemuria and take back the Star and open the portals to the other Elemental cities.” Chuchillian looked at Dante like my brother was a genius even though he was far from it.
We have enough magic to open the portal, but we cannot get you into Lemuria. You are on your own once you get there we cannot help you after you step through the portal. Follow your hearts Children of the Advent and seek the others as you travel. After the guardian spoke a portal opened, and it was as blue as the ocean. Dante, myself, and Rayne stepped through the portal and we were plunged into the ocean. As we stood up we noticed that we were standing on a beautiful beach, the sunlight reflected off the ocean. I looked to my sister and she looked severely pissed off. “What’s wrong Rayne?” I asked innocently. She whipped around and started on a rant. “What’s wrong? We are about to storm the capital city of the Water Children. There is only the three of us, and only the Angel knows how many of them there are!” She gasped for air after he little rant. “Sister, sister, sister.” Dante started. “You forget, we have powers that most people don’t, and we control the Demons. I hardly doubt any number of Lemurians could possibly stand up to us.” Suddenly it seemed that my sister had thought the same thing, as a Pentogram began to draw itself around my siblings and I. Suddenly the circle burst into black flames. We stepped out of the Pentogram as a demon began to emerge. It looked like a huge dog, except it walked on its hind legs, and carried a very large axe in its left hand. The demon howled as about 4 more of its kind emerged from the portal to their world.
“Wait, before we go in.” Rayne held out her hands, and whispered something under her breath as a blue orb started to orbit around every one of the demons. “May the water not harm you. Nulltide.” I knew then that the Water Children were in for a nasty surprise when they found out that none of their attacks would phase the demons. “Are you ready?” I asked my siblings, they only nodded. I looked forward and began to run towards the water city, with Rayne and Dante, and a pack of Demons following us. We were met with a flurry of water and ice attacks, (which I was personally not expecting), but we dodged easily. As the fight raged on you could hear the cry of the Lemurians who were shot by Dante’s guns, but I couldn’t see my sister. Then I heard several Lemurians scream bloody murder. I looked across the garden and a chakram went zooming across and killed a Lemurian on the spot. I then noticed that my sister was brandishing a very wicked looking whip that was causing a great devastation to the warriors. I looked back to the area I was standing in to cast a very powerful spell. I focused on the warriors that were surrounding me and spoke my curse. “Bleed.” The men screamed in agony as wounds opened up on their body and they began losing very large amounts of blood, from my arcane curse. Dante joined my side as Rayne came running over. “Where is the Star?” My brother inquired. Rayne stopped and looked around the city. Most of the Lemurians had either fled to the capital, or had been killed or were in deadly combat with the four demons that still stood strong. “I can sense its presence, it is located at the top of the tower. Dante would you like to lead the way there?” “Of course I would.” He replied as a cruel smile crossed his face as he drew his handguns again. I looked around the ancient city, I saw that many Lemurians had died in the battle, and the grass in places was soaked in blood. I looked at the river that ran through the city towards the center and the tower so I decided to make a long term impact on the land.
I stepped into the river, and began to speak under my breath in the ancient language of the Advent. “What are you doing?” Questioned my brother. “We have to go get the Star and you want to play in the river?” I began to speak an ancient curse. “May the river become more toxic than the worst poison known, may there never be life never spawn from this river. May this river never nourish any living thing in this city, until the end of the reign of Ultima the High Seraph, queen of the Advent Children.” My curse seemed to work as all the fish in the river instantly died, and the grass that fed off the river, also withered and died. My sister gasped as the great city began to collapse and just become ruins apparently the river gave the city a great magic power and kept everything from crumbling. “Lets go we have to get that star. The only way to do this is to fight the Water Children head on. Maybe we should call some of the water demons?” My sister rambled. “Perhaps, however we must remember that we cannot overexert ourselves calling demons and be wiped out in battle, I believe we should just storm the capital. Make them surrender the Mercury Star to us, and maybe we will spare their lives.” Dante looked at me with eyes full of sorrow, because he hated killing the innocents that were not even involved.
Rayne seemed like she was terribly deep in thought, and finally spoke on our way to the Tower in the center of the city. “Maybe we should give them a warning, before we kill the rest of them, and hopefully they will surrender the Star.” I looked at her, “Ok, that’s fine but you have to fire the warning shot.” Rayne grimaced as the chakram began to grow until it was her deadly hoop. She then took it in her right hand and began to speak a spell into the very metal that the ring was made from. The deadly weapon began to glow a faint green as she reared back and let the ring fly out of her hands. It sliced through the air picking up speed as it traveled powered by her incantations. The ring finally made its mark as one of the supports for a guard tower was struck and the tower collapsed into a pile of rubble. Then a trumpet sounded and a white flag was raised at the tallest tower, as we started to hug in celebration a man materialized in front of us as if he materialized right out of a puddle of water. He introduced himself as Aleks, the guardian of the Mercury Star and the leader of the Water Tribe, had ordered him to hand over the Star.
“Here is the Mercury Star please leave us to rebuild our city and our ancestors are the ones who attacked Giruvergan I didn’t even know the story until our leader told me.” Aleks spoke with a grace that only someone of mystic blood could do then I looked at his eyes. They shined just like ours did, the only difference in our builds was that his hair was a blue color the same as the ocean surrounding the city. As Aleks turned to leave, one of the Silent Brothers stepped out of a dark portal.
I am sorry but giving back the Star is no longer enough. I have orders from Ultima the High Seraph Queen of the Advent Children to kill every last Lemurian in the city. No survivors. Please stand back so that I may cast my spell. “No you cant do that!!” Screamed my siblings, and Aleks. Don’t worry Aleks you will not be hurt only people who are not Children of the Advent will be killed by my spell. The Silent Brother pulled back his hood, and Rayne let out a scream of horror. Both of the Brother’s eyes were empty and his mouth had been sewed shut by what looked like a needle and thread. He lifted up his hands and they began to glow, in less than five seconds a giant wave of magic left him and swept the city, as we could hear the screams of the dying Lemurians. The wave ended as quickly as it had started, and the Brother stepped back through the portal. Aleks looked at us crying uncontrollably, “So what do we do now? Apparently I’m not a pure Lemurian otherwise I would have died. I don’t understand, we surrendered and even handed over the Star. Why would Ultima want all of us dead?” His tears flowed down his face and dropped onto the Star and caused it to pulse, like a heart. The Star then began to shine the most brilliant blue I had ever seen, and the hymm of the fayth began to be sung. I watched astonished as several Water Children walked through the gates, weeping, knowing that their home had been destroyed, forever cursed by the Advent Children. They walked up to us, acknowledged us, and their leader spoke to me. “I am Piers, the new crown leader of the Water Tribe. Most of my people have been killed at your hands, but I forgive you. Take the Star it contains a power far greater than anyone knows. It has caused our people nothing but grief since our predecessors brought it here. But the Hymm of the Fayth Shiva, is comforting to me. I will rebuild, this city to greater than it was before and hopefully, we will meet again so that I may question the four of you. You are different than the other Children of Change that I have ever met and I am 300 years old. Farewell.” Piers walked away as he bent down and touched the river and removed my curse from it entirely. Myself, Rayne, Dante, and our newest sibling Aleks, stood and looked at the devastation that we had wrought onto the Lemurians. A portal opened in front of us and we stepped through only to be greeted by the sands of a desert.
