So here are some facts of life. (If an emo is reading this, you may be enlightend)
1. Gothic: To have an aspiration for the gothic artform, fashion styles, and architecture.
Dressing in all black while PILING make-up upon your face (This is boys and girls) is NOT a gothic fashion styling. Grey tone, monotone colors, rich deep colors, and occasionally black. Not all the bloody time. On top of that, black was used as a color accent.
Plus, it depends what EXACTLY you are talking about. The Gothic art period was the longest lasting and different artists from different countries added a twist of their own to it. In other words, different contries version of the gothic art styling have their own cultures looks to it.
For example: victorian gothic, edwardian gothic, classic gothic, french (roccoco) gothic, the list goes on! The gothic art,architecture, and fashion started in Germany. So if ya want good stuff, order from Germany, Japan, or a company in China that specializes in this style. (I actually know one)
2. Punk: Punk is additude, not style -Maxicimam
I agree with the saying. Studded belts, leather, bright red and black contrasts, crappy additude, plaid, you guys jacked it from the punkers. Sorry 'bout your luck sweethearts, but ya did.
Punk was a movement in britain back in 1974. (No it didn't start when you found out what Hot Topic was. They're owned by Abercrombie by the way you posers.)
The belted pants, strapped belts crossing in the back of the legs on your pants, that's punk too kiddies and it ain't dead yet!!!
3. What the @#$% is Emo anyway?
LOL Ah, I get to explain this one. It's supposedly a music genre....yea. Basically, it's a combo of indie, crappy 80's pop, and punk wanna-bes. In other words, it sucks I don't care what you say. I'm a j-rock fan so go kill yourself.
So due to these *cough* people who play this music, (Accoustic guitar. Yea. Burn it already.) and the way they dress, (Which is basically crap too.) this has created the on going FAD and MAINSTREAM of Emos.
Yea, it was created by nerds in thick rimmed glasses that wanted to look cool. They also got proven wrong about the fact that the labels they tried sticking on themselves were wrong. So they made one of thier own.
I would tell you to get a dictionary, but it's not in there, now is it? LOL
4. You're all posers.
LOL Did you know that you fools are in the majority of what's 'popular'? Betcha didn't. That makes you a mainstream retard! rofl On top of that your 'style' is a rip off of so many others.
