Random Stuff.
I will post random things here periodically, so check back every once in a while for a few laughs or something. Latest Entries: A couple of OCs of mine, as well as their story. Felix Locke and Aria Windsummer. God I wish I was better with names/ti
OC #1 - Felix Locke
This is merely one of my many OCs I have. I'll most likely get one more up tonight along with their story ^^

Name: Felix Locke
Age: 19
Hometown: Raised in London.
Weapon: Somewhat good with a sword and bo staff.
Power: With certain gemstones, such as sapphires and rubies, he can focus certain energies through them. For example, with a ruby, he can channel fire through it. So basically he uses magic. But eventually he can do it without the stones, as they're just a way for him to focus the energy.
Heritage: He has heritage from all over Europe, but his mother was British and his father was Finnish.
Hair Length: In the front it covers his eyes. On the sides, it covers his ears. In the back, it covers his neck.
Hair/Eye Color: Hair is a black, though in some lights it could be considered a dark brown. Eyes actually change color to match whatever gemstone he is wearing/using, though he doesn't know (Ruby-Eyes change to reddish color). Though all the colors never stray too far from a somewhat dark grey, so most people think it's just a trick of the light.
Physical Appearance: About 6 feet tall, with a somewhat slim build and a few burns on his arms. He usually wears long sleeves and pants, though, and thus most people don't see it. But while he works, he ties back his sleeves and hair. He never wears shorts, though.
Song: Lorena McKennitt - "Mummers dance"

Felix was a strange child from the beginning, so much so that his parents left him in the care of some friends of the family in Britain, who paid for his education. When in school, though, he would always be caught up in something other than the textbook, or even something in the textbook...Just not on the subject. He would constantly be daydreaming, seeing some things that most people said weren't there, such as faces in the leaves of trees, clouds, and flowing rivers.
He discovered a love for gems around age 8, claiming to see floating images in them sometimes (they would always reflect the element he would later use with the stone...EX: Ruby- He would see a small dancing flame). His foster parent began to question his sanity, and Felix was crushed when he overhead them talking one night. He ran away, stealing a few stones he had seen images in. They were mere trinkets to his foster parent, but he still had the police bring him back. When Felix was cornered in an alley, he saw the images start to rise towards him out of the stones, as if willing him to set them free so they could get the police. He didn't let them out, though, partly because he didn't know how...Partly because he feared them...And partly because he didn't want to hurt anyone.
The police brought him back to his foster home, and his foster parents struck a deal with him. He could keep the jewelry he had taken, but only if he promised never to return to that town. Felix happily agreed, and they sent him off with enough food to last him about a week, if he used it right, and paid for his boat ticket off of Britain.
Felix wandered around the countryside for a little bit, looking for anywhere he could work. One day he stumbled into a small store where a blacksmith resided. The man was getting old, and had lost use of one arm...Which he never showed.
When Felix offered to work, the man happily took him in and taught him everything he knew. While teaching him, though, the old man noticed that instead of hitting the metal with a hammer, Felix would massage the metal into different forms, shaping it with his fingernails and fingers; and for the smaller parts, wooden tools, sometimes as small as toothpicks. Also, whenever Felix would work with gemstones, the shape of the piece he made reflected it. For example, when he used a ruby in the pommel of a sword, it would look something like this. Or a sapphire in a pendant.
It was with the old man that Felix developed another passion as well: dragons. He liked all animals, to be sure, but dragons were his favorite. Whenever he could, he would make pieces resembling dragons; from rings and pendants to swords and daggers. The old man noticed this, and told him of an island that was supposedly home to a dragon before he died.
He tried to find a boat that would take him, but no one would dare go near the island. Frustrated, Felix eventually decided to swim there. What awaited him there, he didn't know.

((The rest continues in the story.))
