All of this suddenly took me by surprise
You cant expect me to know right away
What do you think I should do now of all times?

Yes Im scared, Ive told you that before
But what are you going to do about it?
Are you just going to act like nothings there?

I cant keep asking:
"what if this goes wrong"?
and "will you be there for me"?
because I already know
what all of your answers will be
"Will you end up hurting me"?
"Will you take the time to be the person that I need you to be"?

Why, did this happen so suddenly?
Its not that Im not flattered,
I just think you could do better than me
And why, dont I know what to say?
Shouldnt I have known already?
Its just so confusing for me
With some past emotions, that still havnt left me
You'll just need to give me some time
Thats all I ask for now
