So, as I have metioned before, I like to write. I find it exhilarating and uplifting. If something is bothering me, I can always write. If I am in a great mood, I can write. No matter what is going on, I will always have my writing.
That being said, I would like to share one of my favorite poems of mine. I wrote this a few years back when I was going through a rough patch. I look back on it now, and it is quite sad. However, I think it is well written, and if you would t=like to give some input, I would love to hear it.
So without further ado......
Silence By: Me
Mind abright like glowing sphere Unspoken words I long to hear Never mending mine heart broken Almost near the stars awoken
Dark and dank I sit alone Streams run down the slippery stone Wishing for smooth hands to touch Knowing I'll never get that much
Persisting screams push from within Containment seems to always win Never sure of what to say Closed my lips will seemingly stay
Constricting me, the pain keeps growing Hoping, praying, yet never knowing With whispering voice I share my feelings Wishing for my own healings
Though with sightless feet I go on walking Yet my eyes will forever keep talking With no love, continue I must Down life's path, allowing no lust
Sighs and cries, I can hear Never having mine face show fear Silently loving you forever long Even when my heart screams it's wrong
Well, what do you think? How was it? Do I write well? Did you like the poem? ODes it need work? Give me some feedback. I would love to hear your opinion.
Thanks
