The sun sunk below the horizon and I woke up. I stood up and stretched. I put on clean clothes and walked onto the deck. I told Sam to tell Zach I had went out to buy provisions for their journey. I spent hours out in the markets buying supplies. When I returned I stored it all within the ship. I went in search of Zach but couldn't find him.


"SAM!" I yelled.
"Yes." he replied running to where I was.
"Where is Zach?" I asked.
"He left a note with me for you... Here." Sam said giving me the note and rushing away.

Lamia my love and my sire,

I regret doing this to you, but it has come to me that the charge you gave me long ago needs my attention. I will return in time. I will not say soon because it will not be. However do not despair. I will be back before you leave on your search.

I stared at the note. I groaned.
"DAMNIT!!!!"I screeched.
Why did I have to save that girl! I yelled at myself in my head.
"SAM." I called.
"Yes." he said waryily staying a couple yards away from me.
"Don't worry I'm fine. I'm going look for one more member for our crew. When I return I will remain in my room untill you come and tell me it is New Year's day in the year of 1961. Do you understand?" I asked him.
"Yes." sam said.
"Wow! Don't be so worried!" I said sarcastically.
"Sorry. Just following what you tell me to do." he said walking away.
"Ok then." I said. I walked off the dock to search for the last of my crew before I would recede from the world yet again. Not nearly as long would I leave it, but I would anyway.

I started searching for any supernatural activity in the sprawiling city. I pursued any indication and was turned down by each being. They all were to afraid, didn't care, or just didn't want to. I continued all throughout the long night. When dawn appraoched I dug into the earth and slept underground. I would continue untill I found someone else.
