I awoke. I dug myself out of the earth and brushed myself off. I looked for more supernaturals but was constantly turned down. I flopped down inside a human bar. The waiter came up to me and asked if I wanted something. I could tell he was an incubus. I lifted my head and showed my fangs.
"What do you think?" I said annoyed. He nearly had a heart attack.

"I'm sorry, I uh didn't realize, you know, that you were um.. Hey, aren't you Lamia?" He asked.
"Let me guess, Krytys told you to be wary if I was out and about?" I asked. I gestured for him to sit down. He sat across from me.

"Yeah, what are you doing somewhere like this?" he asked.

"Well, I'm looking for crew to search for... You probably don't care and I don't even know who you are."I said putting my head in my hands. I peeked out at his face from in between my fingers. He looked pretty sturdy not to mention hot even for an incubus.

"Well, I'm Blake Callisto. What are you searching for? I've actually looking for a better job and well.." Blake said.
"Well, Blake. I'm looking for my lost sire Jean. Now that I'm attuned with the world again. I'd like to find him." I said.

I sat up straight and took my head out of her hands and folded them on the table. I was suddenly in a much better mood. I searched his thoughts and memories. He seemed an honorable man, and a good friend.
"Oh, that's cool. So can I have the job?" he asked.
"Um...." I said.
"Plleeeasse!" Blake nearly whined.
"Ok. Just quit your job here, get all your stuff and find the only ship on the dock that has supernaturals on it. Its a big pirate ship." I said. I got up and left.

I arrived back on the ship. I explained to Peter what to do. I went in my room and locked the door. I found Zach's note and tore it up. I flopped down on my bed and closed my eyes. I fell asleep and tossed and turned till the sun came up. I lay still dreamless and sleeping paying no subconcious attention to anything.


Sam knocked on my door.
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" He called. My eyes shot open. My memories hit me like a ton of bricks. I rubbed my head. I got up and walked out on the deck.
"I'm going look for someone." I said.
"We can party when I get back." I said. I walked onto the dock and began my search.
