How I survived being a vampire
Once a long time ago there was a queen who was in power of everyone and everything. She had things that most leaders would not. She use to be the kindest kid in the world. Used to say please and thanks you. But after her parents died she changed. Her name use to be Hope. But now she had changed her name to be Alruna. Now she is a bitter as a lemon. People say that her parents died form a Vampire but no one knows the true story. But I do, my name is Duncan McCloud. She use to be my closest friend when she was young. We use to play on the grounds of her manchion and sing togerther. We both even went to school togerther. We were the closest friends of all time. But one day when I went to go play there were police all over the place and would not let me go past the yellow tape that said "Police line DO NOT CROSS". So I ran home and told my mom and dad about it. They went over and asked what happened. They just told them that they could not tell anyone it was under investagation. So they came home and I jumped up and down asking if Hope could play. They said both at the same time "No". I couldent see her for a whole week. They say that she was in "councling". I dident know what that was so I asked. All they did was stare and didnt say a word. So weeks went by, then months. Then after 6 long hard months I got to see her. I thought she would be bounching off the walls to see me but she was gloomy and her eyes went from a beautiful blue to a deep blood red. She was not the Hope I used to like to play with out in the yards. Then the people who had her had blood red eyes too. I was able to talk to her but she had to have a human mussle on her face. Then we couldnt hug or shake hands. They said that she was sick and it would get to me if I touched her. She said that she had a secret that I could not tell anyone and if I did I would have to die. She said that her parents got killed by things that suck you blood and they would kill you. Or you would be one of them. That right there creeped me out and I had to leave. I felt bad leaving but I had to leave like that but I couldnt stay with Hope.
5 years later I hear that Hope was now the queen of our country. But she made all of these rules, and if you broke one there would be consequence. Then she had told the country that her name was going to be Alruna and anyone who called her otherwise would face greater consequences. Alruna had spy’s every corner of every street. There is nothing you can do that she does not see. If you want a house you have to ask Alruna. She can say yes or no. It’s all up to her and no one could do a thing about it. Then if you want to put something in your house or expand you family you must ask. One day I went to but a gift for a dear friend that I had because he was sick with cancer and dying. So I gave it to him. It was simple chocolates and he enjoyed them. Then the next day he died because of his cancer. Then a week went past and I got a letter from Alruna herself
Dear Mr. Duncan
“I have been told that you have purchased something that you did not ask for. I would like to have a talk with you about this. Please come to my house and we will have brunch over this thing you did. Please come at 10 am sharp on Monday.”

Then on that Monday I went and got there at 10 am sharp. She meet me with a smile and told me to come in and have a seat. So I did. “So how have you been Mr. Duncan?” “Oh I have been good Ho….Alruna how about you?” “Nice catch Mr. Duncan, I have been very well. So I hear that you purchased something without my permission, is that true Mr. Duncan?” “Yes it is very true Ms. Alruna and I’m sorry it was for my good friend who had cancer and died today.” “Oh well I’m sorry for your loss Mr. Duncan. But that does not explain why you did that without my permission.” So I stayed quiet till the doors opened and then shut. “Yes I know I should have come to you but since we knew each other when we were kids I thought you would cut me some slack.” “Oh no my friend there is no slack for anyone. I told you what I went through and no one gets slack. I never did and now I’m a vampire who can never go back to being the kid you used to play with!” Now her eyes were turning from a deep red to a bright blood red that would glow in the dark if you put them there. Now she went into a crouch and springed like a wild cat onto me knocking me over with her onto the floor. Then she dug her long sharp teeth into my neck where the blood ran hot and sticky. I could feel it running down my neck then here it hitting the wood floor. The next thing I knew was that I was knocked out cold.

“Ohhh what is that bright light?” As Duncan woke up he seemed like he was in heaven. But he saw that he was in his house on his bed. “What happed?” All he could remember is that Alruna attacked him. He felt his neck and there were two small neck punchers. Then he knew that he was now what Alruna was. A vampire. He was scared at first but he knew what he needed to do. He needed to go out and kill all the vampires and the people who were not good people inside. Then he remembered there was a girl named Erika that used to haunt a little town and killed only the people who were ugly inside. So he went to the town of Erika which was named after her because of what she did. She slit the troughs of people who were new and people who she did not like. So Duncan found her and he was shocked on how young she was. She looked to be only 14 or 15. By now Duncan was 21 and living on his now immoral life. Erika had flaming red hair and looked like she got in an accident before she died. He didn’t want to know what happened to her when she was young. So he went up to her in the middle of the night and asked if he could help her. He told her all about what happened and then she agreed to help him. But in return he must help her in her quest to kill all the ugly people. So he agreed to that.
Now they are back at Duncan’s town and they are going to work. The only bad thing about being a vampire is you can’t see ghosts at work. So that was a advantage to him because Erika was on his side. Now Duncan is going around killing all the bad vampires and werewolf’s. He left the vampires that only drank animal blood. But now that he was thinking about blood he suddenly got hungry. He went crazy and could not control himself. He went into a house that had a old lady and killed her and drank her blood. He was full and could last about 4 days then would need to go back to eat. But he felt bad for the people that would be in his way. They would be in a bad place at the worst time ever. Erika got 5 people that had “ugly” spirits. And that’s how it was for about a month. The Alruna started to get suspicious why her guards and other vampires/werewolf’s were suddenly disappearing. Then she thought long and hard about all the people she killed or turned and he thought for about 2 days then she knew who was under this all, Duncan. She went up to him and she hissed an awful his and lunged at him like she did when she turned him. Then it was a vampire cat fight. All the vampires and werewolf’s that were on her side came and fought agents the ones on our side. But Duncan’s team had one advantage that was Erika. She went swiftly though the mob and killed all of the werewolf’s and vampires. All who stood was Alruna. This made her very angry. She noticed that all the people had been demolished with one thing but what. “Did Duncan have a power that no one had? No that can’t be, could it?” Then she saw that Erika was not a vampire but she was a ghost. That is why those random people had died. The criminals that the country had hunted for, the people in jail. Now she knew that she was going to pay the price of what she had done to herself and her closet friend back in old times. Then it was over in a flash, Erika killed her like anyone else but she chopped the head all the way off and started her on fire. Then that was it. It was over.
Then the country had a new king. And that was Duncan. But the think he did not know is if you fight all the bad vampires you get a choice of if you want to be mortal or immortal. So Duncan chose to be mortal. So he chose mortal so he could find a wife to be his queen. And he kept his promise to Erika and he had someone kill all the “Ugly” people in his county. Erika went back to her old self and was quiet pleased with her so she stopped killing and allowed people in the town and out. Then they both lived with pride and grace.
