This movies just good...
Its a good comedy, with a premise kind of similar to Jim Jarmuches "Broken Flowers" and is overall just a funny a** movie.
Another great thing about this movie is the soundtrack(Though I wish they would just play the whole god damn song insted of parts..hasent Wes Anderson tought people nothing!?) but the songs are great:
Velvet Underground
Rocky Erickson & The Thirteenth Floor Elevators
Elton John
Bruce Springsteen
Bob Dylan..ect.

Okay so the movie is about Rob, a Record store owner, and it follows him as he gets dumped, then Hooks up again with his girlfriend Laura. While inbetween the break up and hook up, he makes a list of the girls who had broken up with him(He also makes many many other lists in the film)
Threw out the film Rob is going threw a "Mid-life-crisis" and nearly goes insane when he finds out his ex is dating a guy named Ian, who use to be his neighbor. Now hes also having problems with his Co-Workers d**k, and Barry...

Barrys being a d**k threwout the movie.
and Dicks being a p***y.

Now they constantly get into musical Arguements, which Rob hates, and mostly just ignores, and goes on with his lists..

So he goes over all the old girlfriends in his past, looking for flaws in his nature, and Laura is still talking to him, Hanging around him and all that kind of crap, leading to the ulteamate reconciliation..

Now they get a tape from a local band called the "Kinky Wizards", Rob likes them, and makes them a record, and sells it there at his store..Then his girlfriend makes them do a record for old people, and a benifite type concert/party where barry ends up playing also(To Robs Dismay) Barry ends up Kicking a** and Rob gives in...Then the movie ends..

The actings good, the jokes are good, everythings good, though the editing of the music and the constant, you only hear 2 seconds of the song kinda pissed me off(Have they learned nothing from Wes Anderson)..atlest they were good songs

Overall:

Laughs:4/5 Its a funny movie, if you get what they are talking about..
Acting:4/5 Their all good, exept this is like the 400th movie where Jack Black plays..himself..then again, he is best at it..
Rewatchability:4/5 I could see myself watching this again.
Soundtrack:5/5 Its good..just wish they played the songs out..
Final:4/5 Buy it.
