Sorry for the interruption but I need the following students to please report to the office,” the same old, annoying, whiny voice bleated over the intercom. Prof. Lucien rolled his eyes, once again one of his never boring, long, meaningful speeches about the Revolutionary war was interrupted for something probably irrelevant and pointless.
“It’s always the last period of the day,” he sharply looked at the clock, “Only twenty minutes left in this class and five of them will be wasted.” He didn’t say this loud for it would make him a hypocrite seeing how he practically preaches about not talking during any announcements, but I was close enough to hear him.
“I need to see Inna Spencers,” hearing my name over the speakers made me cringe. Prof. Lucien looked at me suspiciously. I just shrugged and grabbed my bag and tried not to shake as I walked across the room, all eyes on me. I didn’t hear any of the other names being called well except Everett Giles, I was almost fifty percent going to get in big trouble.
Miserably I walked to the office the halls were empty except of a teacher scowling two kids, one of which who was crying the other hastily explaining what happened. I sighed and racked my brain of anything slightly bad I have done during the coarse of the week, almost nothing bad enough to get in trouble. I pause before grabbing the handle of the door to the office. I closed my eyes and effortlessly opened the heavy metal door.
