Hundred Years Of Blood
Chapter 6

With a flick of his hand he sent his men in to 'clear' the house, the soldiers doing a great job of inspecting each room of the first floor carefully before they regrouped back to their hulking.

Enrie nodded silently, knowing that they found nothing on the ground floor of the house. Looking up into the rickety stairs as he took the first steps, he flicked on the thermal vision system of his helmet, enabling him to pick up any heat signature from anything 'alive'. He saw an obscured blob of yellow and red amongst the sea of blue that clouded his vision, knowing full well that it's either an Infected or the human girl they were looking for.

"Full auto boys...leave nothing alive that does not in any way look like a human girl to you...", he whispered through the intercom, his footsteps heavy on the old wood floorboards, creaking noises permeating the room each time his boots made contact with the flooring. He had Quinn safely behind him in case they got attacked, his rifle leveled readily parallel to his eyes as he approached the room that sent of a heat signature.

Beep, beep, beep...

The GPS unit of his armor started to vibrate...

Oh no...

That means only one thing...that the City's radar systems are sending his GPS tracking device that the movement of hostiles are being picked up. That beep is a warning for the crew to haul their a** or become fast food for the Undead.

"Men open and clear!", he barked out, kicking the door open in haste, all of them pausing as they find a lone girl, thinly clad and caked with dirt standing in the middle of the dirty room.
