Hello again! This journal entry is about how I tried to be nice to Alex (L), which went really badly. So first off, it is so easy to be mean to him, because he pretty much just sets me up for it (unknowingly, because I never acctually say any of this to him).
So, last Friday, he broke his thumb playing volleyball. Somehow, this prompted me to agree to stop being mean at least until his thumb healed. (Stupid, I know.) So, the following Monday, I started the whole being nice thing figuring it would be easy. (I'm usually a really nice person.) So, during HOPE class, the genius decides to come play circle volleyball with my group. Almost everything I ended up saying to my friend Megan was, "no, that would be mean..." Isn't that awful? So, finally it ended up nearly driving me crazy. All week, but I geuss it was also pretty funny, trying to turn every mean comment into something nice, or at least neutral.
Well anyway, on Friday we had run the mile. Megan and I had been joking about it all week, saying how we had to train to beat Alex. On the way there we we're talking about a weird dream that she had, and we didn't want the rest of the class hearing us, so we walked way ahead of Coach and everyone else. you're supposed to walk ahead of Coach anyway, and no one else has been. This is where being Coach Wells' favorite student pays off. We only had to run three laps out of four. So part of her dream had been that we beat everyone else at the mile. She was convinced that it meant something. So, that helped us beat him, and we beat him at the 3 lap mark anyway. So, we won either way. Go us.
So, while we were talking, and she kept talking about this guy that she's pretty much obsessed with. (That was the other part of the dream.) I called her a crazy fangirl, and she accused me of being obsessed with Alex! I am not! So we argued about that for the rest of the time that we were at the track. On the way back, we were way ahead of everyone again, and still arguing about it. She said something about how I'm so compettitive toward him. I told her that I just have a natural competitive edge, and he sparks it. So she says "Maybe that's not the only thing he sparks..." At least she had the sense to run. scream So now she won't quit calling either him or me Sparky, and if that sticks, I'm gonna kill her.
So, because of this whole mess, I decided screw it on tbe whole being nice thing. And now, he has like 4 (5 if you wanna really annoy me) nicknames. Orochimaru: the one me and Megan decided with the whole "that Christmas party" thing. Muffin-head: his hair looks like a muffin when he runs, and Kelli made this one up. Beetoven: the one my volleyball team made up because of his last name (Ludwig). Xerxes: Long story short, I'm a history nerd, and Megan was joking about me and her being Spartans when we were trying to beat at running.

So, that was alot longer than I thought it would be, but I geuss what I write usually is. That's all for now, Bye! heart
