I forgot to tell you guys this, but this Thursday, I did a good deed.

I was almost home (I walk home from school) when suddenly I see this er... I don't know what type of dog it was, but it had curly white hair with brown splotches here and there and a SORT OF squashed face.

Anyways.

So I see this dog right? So I think: OMFG A STRAY! I wonder if Mom'll let me keep it? Then I see an old man across the street looking at the dog. I'm all: o...kay... But then I see a collar around it's neck. The old man cries: "Please! Hold onto him! Please! He doesn't bite! Please!" (that's literally what he said)

So I'm all: "C'mere boy! C'mere boy!" I whistle to him, pat my thighs, snap, and the dog stops and looks at me for a second. He comes towards me. I reach out for him... and he notices that I'm a stranger and runs off. So of course I chase after him. Cuz I'm like that. ninja

The man starts walking (oh, and he's on the other side of the street) the other way, in the direction where the dog ran off... and where I was going.

So the dog goes inside this walkway between two Mexican houses (I think they're Hispanic... or Latino... I dunno but they were really nice people when I talked to them... and their houses kicked @$$ razz ) and stops between a small area for cars.

The residents (two teens in like their 18-20s and a small boy of about 10) come out and walk towards the dog, and the old guy walks across the street without going to a walkway even when cars are coming. I'm all: HOLY CRAP! but I go after the dog. (i stopped in front of their houses though... biggrin )

They're all: This ur dog?

I'm all: No, it's his. *points to old man walking calmly across the street while cars rush past*

Them: Oh.

Me: He says to hold on to it.

Them: *walks over to the dog and holds onto it just as the old man comes around*

Old Man: Thank yew!! Thank yew!! (that's what it sounded like to me... x3)

Me: Well, bye *waves*

Them: Bye! *hands dog to old man*

Old man: *holds dog to chest and sits down for a break*

Me: *continues walking home*

I felt really good after that. Good deeds make you feel... happy. biggrin Like you did something good with your life. biggrin Yeah. Good luck, old man! I hope you don't lose your dog again!
