the shadow wandered deep into the desert. The heat and sand caught him and pulled him and tormented him, the whole of the world seemed to leap out to punish his existence, to taunt the fact that once in his life he had finally done something individual, although he had always had individual thoughts and feelings from the man he followed relentlessly, he had never acted separately and so the world was to tare his fragility apart. he began to feel his soul fraying like a thin cloth, torn by thorns, it unraveled slowly but painfully and then when he was sure he was almost gone he came upon an oasis. He sat by the cool pond using all the strength he could muster just not to blow away, in the soft wind. The light was fading,he was certain he was now dying he gave up holding on,to fall, a drift, his strength had failed him. The water met him graetfully as if it thirsted, and it was not he. The water rushed down as water does filling every empty space and the shadow drunk. It was fully dark now, a time when every shadow joins in one. as the living must not do until they've passed the curtain, through. yet he felt not pulled by the buzz of all the spirits becoming one. He felt numb, and choking and with some renewed strength he rose from the pool, and the cold set in.
