It hit the world news three years ago. Animal and human DNA have successfully been combined. The scientist in question uses it to make a new line of pets. The pets though popular are very expensive. Some people have even been treating them like normal people but they were made only to serve. One of the most known pet stores is DNA.
Keiro blinked his golden green eyes open slowly. His black ears twitched as he heard the bell. Bell? He sat up smiling glancing around noticing only a new person entering. Keiro's cage had a small pillow in it and a yellow ball of yarn. It wasn't much but it made him happy. After stretching he looked around again hoping to see something new. Seeing only a few people he sighed and flopped onto the ground poking at his yellow yarn. His long black tail swished behind him. Smiling he wapped at the yarn and pounced on it as it rolled away. Smiling deviously he threw the ball around pouncing on it. Happy he started to purr as he swatted the ball back and forth.
