The rain beat quietly on the roof of the small shelter. The six soldiers sat in silence. Closest to the door was Bjorn, the scout, time warper, his hair was cropped and his clothes loose, the colors matched with a dark brown and yellow trim. To his Left sat the tall Leif, glasses skewed on his face a bottle in his hand his green eyes seemed far off and misted. He could feel the emotions of everyone's threads, the tension was high. Hector was on Leif's other side, his face covered in strange designs and patterns and his hands gloved a thick book in his lap. Senji to the would be middle his eyes closed tight beneath his thick armor and his hands resting on his knees. Sara the medic her hands placed gently on Jakob. She was small and frail but her healing abilities were unmatched and the Giant of a man Jakob was cut and scarred. Thick tangles of blond hair fell over his bare back, his shirt beside him.
"I didn't see them...Eyes was able to kill a few of the things before he fell, I took most of them out, but I had to get Bjorn here, so I left the body." He twinged no of any outer pain, and the silence resumed, as if unbroken...
