And now we start on Chapter One: Fourteen Years Ago. This is the first chapter of the book "T.Witches" and from the back we have learned that two twins with psychic powers were separated at birth and that if they ever meet lots of crazy s**t would happen, and for the purpose of plot, they're about to meet.

So... not psychics, but they're called witches instead. And warlocks. They're in a forest at midnight, probably because they're witches. And witches hang out in forests at midnight. Karsh? Thantos? Ilena? Why don't they have sensible names, like Jerry, Fred, and Susan? Oh right, 'cuz they're witches.
Ilena has two babies with her, who I presume are the twin witches mentioned at the back of the book. And she's mad at Karsh for leaving,
Page Two.
So as it turns out, Ilena and Karsh are hiding from Thantos, who's a tracker. Plus, the twins have been recently born, and their names are... Artemis, and Apolla. Come on, you can come up with better twin girl names then that! Like... Dolly and Lloyda. Or Sarah and Brendana.
Page Three.
The babies own their own necklaces. Artemis has a half-moon. The babies are speshul, because they're really alert. Which is why Thantos is tracking them, or at least trying to. Somehow, he and his mob pass by them completely unaware. Karsh then turns back into a human. Oh, did I forget to mention he'd taken the form of a tree?
Page four.
Karsh has the rank of 'Tracker' and that's a good thing, whereas Ilena is only a 'Guardian' and that's pretty poor in comparison. Ilena is also apparently a vain b***h. She orders Karsh to take the babies somewhere safe, and gets mad because he calls her a witch and that's sooo common. She'd much prefer Goddess.

Ilena insults Thantos, who turns out to be the babies' uncle, and killer of their father. I suspect Ilena is their mother, since it mentioned they have the same eye color. Anyway, Ilena is removing Apolla's necklace, a half-sun charm.
A half-sun? I can understand the half-moon, but a half-sun?
Karsh doesn't want her to remove the necklaces however, because otherwise they won't be able to identify each other. Apparently they're fraternal twins.
Page six.
Ilena points out that the whole point of this is so the babies won't meet again. So Karsh only pretends to remove Apolla's... half-sun. They proceed to repeating that the babies will only be truly powerful if they are together. They end by dramatically telling us that Thantos will probably end up killing them if they ever meet.
Short chapter. Weird names. A freaking half-sun. What more needs to be said?
