Kept within the cages, barred behind the bars, will anyone release me? Will there ever be a soul who can set me free? Alone, so alone. Where have all the people gone? Why have they vanished from this place i used to know? Is there anyone who will release me to find my home? Is there someone out there? Someone who will accept me as their own? Come and find me, Please release me. Set me free... Her lips quivered in the piercing cold darkness. Buckets of rain came down upon her head soaking her, physically dragging her down. She was stumbling over her own two frozen feet, falling into the mud, only feeling numb. All she did was rise, her lifeless cold eyes combing the surrounding landscape of forest. That of which she could see. The rain was accompanied with ripping wind. It broke branches, and toppled trees around her. It tore at her clothes and whipped her soaked hair across her already numb face. "Why do you punish me in such a way?" she whispered in an sweet like voice. Still, she rose and continued on, through the punishing fall night storm. On and on she walked until she was at the edge of a cliff overlooking a city. At last.. A place to stay. She thought. Suddenly the wind gave a large burst, lifting her and tossing her off the cliff. Her eyes widened and she gasped, not knowing what to do. She plummeted further and further and the words of the elder rang in her ears. The woman then let out a loud shriek of terror and tried to reach with no avail to the wall. Somebody, she thought.
