How to speak Japanese
Basic Sentence Structure
In english the order has a subject first, then the verb, and the object of the sentence last.

Ex:
I am fast

Subject - I
Verb - am
object - fast

A subject is the thing that does the verb, and the object is the rest of the sentence.
In Japanese the order is Subject, Object, Verb
In Japanese the "I am fast" would be ordered "I fast am"

The words "am" "is" and "are" is all one word in Japanese
Desu!

I am - Watashi desu
He is - Kare desu
They are - Karera desu

Desu always ALWAYS goes last!
