-One year later: Age 16-

It seemed like fate for this day to come... When Mizuki and Shinobu were in the same class, but Akito in a different class. Mizuki didn't seem to mind, but she seemed lonely for the time being. Sensei* walked in the room and announced the arrival of a new student.

"Be sure you guys treat him well. He's come from New York, so his Japanese might be a bit shabby." Sensei said. The class nodded. Shinobu glanced to the front in curiosity as he called the student to come in. As he noticed him, Shinobu thought he was familiar. "Pleased to make your acquaintance. I am Kamura Takeshi." He introduced himself, winking at the class. Everyone muttered among themselves, seeming surprised. Shinobu couldn't believe it. He's back! Sensei quieted the class down and told Kamura to sit at the empty seat next to Tsukiyomi. Shinobu raised his hand, not showing excitement though. It would almost be like the days when he used to play soccer with him every day. He scribbled a message on a scrap paper and handed it to Takeshi when he arrived. He glanced at it and grinned. "Tadaimasu**" He wrote the kanji and gave it back to him.

-LUNCH TIME-
Shinobu still wasn't one to sit near Mizuki. Takeshi seemed confused when he saw Shinobu go opposite of where Mizuki was. He looked towards Mizuki and saw a guy he didn't know by her side. Takeshi tilted his head in confusion. He went to Shinobu's table, put down his bentou and told Shin he'd be back. Takeshi approached Mizuki's table and sat near her. "Hey there, long time no see!" He exclaimed.
Mizuki looked at Takeshi in silent. "...I don't know you like that, Kamura-san." She said.
"Aww, can't we be friends?" He looked at Akito. "I don't believe we met?"
Akito nodded. "I am Koyama Akito. Pleased to meet you."
"Ah. Kamura Takeshi. The pleasure is mine." He then got up from the table. "If you'll excuse me, I've a meal waiting for me." He said with a smile, then turned to walk away.

He sat by Shinobu, opening his bentou. Shinobu glanced at Takeshi, wondering when he was going to start questioning him. He was already done, so he waited on Takeshi. "Ne***. Shin." He finally said, finishing his cold rice.
"What's up?"
"Got any room for another soccer player on the team?"
Shinobu grinned. "Lucky for you, we do. Wanna sign up?"
"Yup. Shall we go?"
"Yeah."
They each got up and left the classroom to get on with the day.

*Sensei - in this case, teacher.
