Early in the morning, Takeshi was awakened by a call from his parents, saying Shinobu was there. Grumpy for a bit, he got up, refreshed himself in the restroom and came out. He had pulled on his usual sport attire. Athlete shorts and a jersey. When Takeshi noticed Shinobu, he grinned because he was almost wearing the same thing. The guys greeted each other and went out to go to the park to play soccer 1 on 1.
"Hey. Have you heard from Miyako?" Shinobu suddenly asked.
"Wouldn't that be a question for Mizuki?"
"Funny you should ask that."
"Not really. She doesn't remember us. And I doubt she got in contact with Mizuki."
Shinobu caught the ball under his foot and paused. "Weird. I guess that explains why she ditched you for some other dude."
"Don't start that."
"I'm not starting anything. You were supposed to keep an eye on her anyways."
They stopped the game for a bit to rest on the bench. They seemed tired and happy to play.

"You two haven't changed, have you." Asked an approaching girl.
Shinobu blinked. The voice sounded so familiar.. He lifted his head up and looked towards where the voice came from to see a familiar face. "Well, speak of the devil." He mumbled.
"What?"
"It's Miyamoto."
Takeshi couldn't believe it, so he lifted his head as well to look and indeed, he saw her. Miyako was wearing a nice pink sun dress with a flower like straw hat. Her face was innocent and mature as she approached. "Long time no see."
She stood behind them, still grinning from ear to ear for no apparent reasons.
"What brings you back to Japan?" Asked Shinobu.
Miyako chuckled lightly. "What, I'm not allowed to come back home?"
"No one said that." muttered Takeshi.
"Anyways, dad decided to transfer back here in Japan because things weren't going so well in learning Eigo*." she explained.
"Aww... So you aren't too fluent in it?" Asked Shinobu.
"I would say average. I don't know too much though."

The group was silent for a bit. Takeshi worried and wondered if she was going to ask about Mizuki... Miyako was the last person he'd want to let know that Mizuki didn't remember them.. They were so close in friendship too. Shinobu on the other hand, felt that even though the three of them are gathered, just one more person would complete the group. Just like old times. But then again, no one would be able to replace Mizuki for Takeshi. He knew that well. As for Miyako, it was unknown to the guys, but she heard them talking earlier... At least when Takeshi said, "she doesn't remember us..." Miyako can most likely assume that they were either talking about her or Mizuki. She didn't want to ask though. She decided to leave it be since guys will always be guys and it's always better not to jump in something... especially when she doesn't completely understand what they were talking about.

Mizuki was walking by with Akito by her side, laughing. They were just entering the park for a while. Shinobu noticed this and decided to do what he can to keep Miyako from noticing as well. Akito saw the two guys with a girl and waved at them when he noticed Shinobu looking his way. "Hey! You two!" He called out to them.
"So much for making sure Miyamoto doesn't notice..." Shinobu thought as he waved back along with Takeshi.
Miyako turned and her eyes saw Mizuki. She grinned. "Hi Mizuki! Long time no see!" She called.
Mizuki waved back with a smile, despite her confusion as to how the girl knew her name.

As Mizuki and Akito approached the group, Mizuki stood a short distance away with Akito by her side. Miyako tilted her head, curious. "Who's he?"
He nodded his head. "Nice too meet you. I'm Koyama Akito. And you are?"
"Miyamoto Miyako. Pleasure to meet you."
Mizuki nodded. "And I'm Aichi Mizuki."
Miyako looked at Mizuki, dumbfounded. How could she act as if she was a stranger? Just then, there was an arm wrapped around her shoulders. Takeshi grinned. "Well then! It's time for our date. If you'll excuse us."
Everyone else seemed surprised. "Err.. Sure.. Take care." Shinobu finally broke the silence. He watched the two of them walk away, Miyako confused. "I hope she won't be too upset." he thought to himself, worried.
"Well, it's getting late. Can I leave you here with Tsukiyomi?" Akito asked Mizuki.
She looked at him, then at Shinobu and then at Akito again. Reluctantly, she nodded. "Sure.. See you at school."
"Yeah. See ya." He walked away.

Mizuki turned to face Shinobu, then slowly approached him. "..Can I join you on the bench?"
He nodded. "Sure. Have a seat." Shinobu said, hiding his surprise and scooting over for her to sit.
Mizuki sat down, staring straight ahead. Not much words were exchanged during this time...
