So after a few days of giving me and everyone else the cold shoulder, Lea and Damien have decided to join us in our new quest to find my sire. Jaques is nervous as am I.
Will Jean try to take control of my coven? Wll he see Lea and Jaquilene as freaks of nature and kick them out? Or worse, kill them? Will he hurt Damien and Julien? What will he do to Jaques? And what about Nicky and Blake? Ugh, maybe searching for him isn't such a good idea.
I blink a few times and come out of my mental tirade to realize Lea and Jaquilene and Nicky are poking me incessently while the four guys stand to the side trying not to laugh. I decide to scare the crap out of them and I let my body slump to the floor.
"WE KILLED HER!!!!!!" Jaquilene shrieks scared.
"That's impossible!" Julien says a note of trepadation in his voice. He edges closer to me.
All the girls have kneeled down around me and the guys have circled round them standing up. Deciding that now is the best moment to jump up, I burst up into a standing position with a war cry and burst out laughing when all of them jump ten feet into the air and fall back a few yards.
Damien swears loudly. Lea and Jaquilene faint. Julien stares wide eyed seemingly frozen. Jaques stands there trying not to laugh, he rolls his eyes and shakes his head. Realizing it was just one of my sick jokes, Nicky and Blake join me in my insane laughing.
I calm myself and tell Nicky, Blake, and Jaques to sit down. I tell Julien and Damien to wake Jaquilene and Lea. The two girls wake up and Damien and Julien explain. They frown and sit down with Julien and Damien.
"You girls okay?" I ask
"Well now that we aren't worried..." Lea begins
"that we poked you to death, yes we are." Jaquilene finishes.
I smile at them "good"
"So when are we going to look for this infamous sire of yours?" Julien inquires.
"Well im not quite sure. I'm still debating wether we should or not." I say
"But, Lamia, how can you say that? I would have thought...." Nicky spluttered
"It just, I'm worried what will happen when he gets back. I mean will Jean try to take control of our coven? Will he see Lea and Jaquilene as freaks of nature and kick you guys out? Or worse, kill you? Will he hurt Damien and Julien because they are wolves? What will he do to Jaques? And what about Nicky and Blake?" I say outloud asking myself these questions again more than anyone else.
"Lamia, you shouldn't worry about us, babe. We can handle ourseves. And if he tries any of those things you would stop him and we would fight, right?" Jaques asks taking my hand in his.
"I...well yes I would...I just...well he...Ugh." i mumble to myself.
"The thing is if we find him he might not want to come back and, well if he does and any of the questions i posed take place i don't know how well we would stand up to him, he was over one thousand when he sired me. He is very strong." i say trailing off into thought.
"But no, we are to many for him and with my power, we would overcome him easily wouldn't we?" I ask weakly.
"Power?" Jaques, Jaquilene, Julien, Lea, and Damien ask at the same time.
"I haven't shown any of you yet?" I say confused.
"Hmm. Ok then." I say standing up.
"Back up." Nicky commands everyone. I smile at her. She nods back. Everyone backs away from me.
The old familiar shiver runs down my spine as I focus my mind on splitting myself. I close my eyes slowly and when I open them the three wolves and two sang noir are taken aback. They are frozen in surprise and awe. I ean on the soulder of the clone of me standing to the right of me. I glance over at the other clone staning to my left and smile. I see my smile mirrored.
"Awesome isn't it? I ask.
"How many can you make?" Jaquilene and Lea ask simultaneously.
"As many as I wish." I say. Standing up straight i absorb the two clones.
"THAT IS SO WICKED AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jaques yells.
"Indeed. Indeed it is." i say
"So it's decided then." Julien says
"What is?" I ask
"We are going to search for him. There is no way that he can stand against us or overthrow your leadership." Damien says realizing what Julien means.
"Oh, well I suppose." I say offhandishly.
"OOOO!!! Are we going to take the plane?" Lea asks
"I LOOOOVE the plane!!!!" jaquilene shouts.
"Yea, sure. I guess we should all start packing!" I say excitedly.
I pull out my cell and call my pilot and tell him to start preperations.
