After the crash course my pilot gave us we could all fly the plane well nough to get us into a safe landing if need be.
"HURRY UP!!!!!!!!!" Lea yelled at me as she and Jaquilene jumped into the plane.
Damien and Julien staggering behind them with a half dozen or so suitcases each. I walked outside carrying three of my suitcases, 6 clones following me each with two suitcases. I saw the boys four suitcases sitting on the steps. I split off two more clones and they picked them up and carried them onto the plane.
"Thanks Lamia." they both said gratefully.
The two of them flopped down on a couch so they could relax. I could hear Lea and Jaquilene squealing in the sleeping compartment of the plane. I smiled and shook my head.
Nicky walked up carrying three suitcases.
"Where are the rest? Those look like Blakes's." I said to her.
"That's cause they are. He has mine." she said smiling.
"Aha." i said. I look out the door of the plane to see Blake struggling with a dozen or so suitcases. I couldn't help giggling.
The eight clones rush up and take the suitcases. They put them in the cargo hold with everyone elses.
I think altogether we had 48 oversized and overstuffed suitcases. Thank goodness its not just for normal people. That would be utterly ridiculous, but for filthy rich vampires and werewolves and sang noir it was normal.
"Hold on. We are missing Jaques!!!" I exclaimed.
I lept of the plane and ran back inside to see him dragging his three suitcases out of his room. I pick one up and two of my clones come in.
"Where are the other 6?" I ask.
"Absorbed them." they said.
"Oh. Ok. Take these to the plane please." I tell them giving them the three suitcases after wrestiling the other two from Jaques.
"Why do you do that to them? They are you you know! Would you want to be the one having to load all that luggage?" Jaques asked
"I could have done it myself Lamia." he said.
" I know that love, but they don't mind. You don't want to have to load 49 suitcases do you? Didn't think so. Let's go!" I say grabbing him by the wrist and dragging him outside before he can retort.
When we get on the plane everyone is talking and laughing. Jaques sits down and I walk into the cockpit to tell the pilot we can leave.
I walk back into the room. Everyone looks up at me expectantly and hush up at once.
"Wow, ok then. Well, i don't know if any of you knew but, this is a double decker plane. The stairs are in the galley. Julien, Jaquilene, Lea, and Damien, you guys will be staying down here. Nicky, Blake, Jaques, and I will be staying upstairs. Is that ok with everyone?" I ask
"Can we see it?" Lia asks wide eyed.
"Yes, please! I want to see the top floor!!!!!" Jaquilene says. Lia's expression mirrored in her face.
"Of course you..." i start to say but before i can finish they fun past me and fly up the stairs. Thier squeals could have raised the dead.
"OMG THIS IS SO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWESOME!!!!!!!!!!" Lia screeches.
"OH MY GOSH LIA LOOK AT THIS!!!!!" Jaquilene screams.
Julien and Damien shake their heads and smile as they reluctantly walk upstairs. Nicky and Blake follow them and I tug on Jaques hand and take him upstairs.
Suddenly the voice of the captain comes out over the speakers
"We are about to lift off. Please take a seat somewhere. Thank you. Anything you may need can be atained by pressing one of the buttons on the walls next to your seats.
Your flight attendant may be reached by pressing the blue buttons, she can get anything you need.
We have a large selection of movies you can watch. Simply press the silver buttons on the walls, a twenty inch touch screen will appear from beneath your seat on a robotic arm. Simply select a movie genre, type in a title or keyword, type the name of producer or actor or actress, and you will be presented with a list of available movies that fit your needs. We also have teleision shows.
If you need an extra blanket or pillow, press the white buttons on the walls, an overhead compartment will open and you may take what you need.
We will have a dinner service ready for you by six o'clock. Right now its three thirty. Skies are clear and perfect for flying. We will arrive in California in about four hours.
"We're going to California?" Nicky asked.
"Mhm. I want to watch a movie on the big screen. Its downstairs let's go!" i say. I lead everyone back downstairs. After everyone is seated, I press the black button next to me. The screen comes down from its compartment above. I choose a movie and as it starts the plane lifts off and points towards California.
