Let's think of the wavering millions...
Who need leading but get gamblers instead...
Beatles vs. Rolling Stones... ugh.

GODDAMMIT.

This seriously pisses me off. Why is that when I'm speaking about the great contributions that the Stones made to music and pop culture, someone feels the need to shoot it down and replace it with the Beatles. Seriously. It makes me loose respect for the Beatles. It's the fandom that really pisses me off. I can't have a normal conversation with a Beatles fan and telling them about my love of the Stones when they butt in and tell me that the Stones suck and can't come up with anything musically great compared to the Beatles.

GEEZ PEOPLE. I'M NOT LOOKING FOR AN ARGUMENT ON WHO'S BETTER! I WOULD JUST LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THE STONES AND STUFF. I don't know why a lot of Beatles fans feel the need to correct ANYBODY when they favor the Stones. I don't need Stones fans to correct people when they favor the Beatles. Just acknowledge that they both did something great. From what I have seen, Stones fans are able to accept it. But insulting the Beatles is like, pissing on Jesus' grave.

I would just like this argument to stop. It gets so annoying. Even the Who. Beatle fans love to shoot them down too. Plus they LOVE to talk about Paul the most. THERE ARE OTHER BEATLE MEMBERS THAN PAUL. It makes the other look like they don't matter. I just sorta find Paul to be a very tall looking baby that seems to age. He just looks like he has a lot of baby fat. According to a book that I have read, the Stones actually forced the Beatles to have to change their sound if they wanted to keep the thrown over pop music. I don't care.

I would like to acknowledge that they were friends. No matter how the press tried to make them out to be enemies. They were both fans of each others music. If you wanted rock with a pop feel and beat, then the Beatles were for you, if you wanted rock with a darker, a little edgier feel, then the Rolling Stones were for you. Each of them adapted to the trend of music at that time. Even if the Stones went on to be the worlds longest running, durable band doesn't mean that they are automatically better, just because the Beatles sold more and helped the Stones doesn't mean their better either. A lot of Beatles fans use that. But they forget that if it wasn't for Brian Epstain or their company, they wouldn't have made it. The Beatles were marketed. They had money backing them and everything they did so they could afford to make mistakes. If they didn't have that backing them, they would be struggling in order to survive.

It's just, I get tired of hearing all these fusing about Stones vs. Beatles. Even on that show on VH1, The Great Debate, about Stones vs Beatles. I hate it. Everyone would go for the Beatles. Not every song can be traced from the Beatles, R&B came from people before them, pop music came before them. Maybe it came from Little Richard, or Buddy Holly, or Jerry Lee Lewis. Even if I'm a Stones fans, it actually hurts me. To only call the Stones a drugged up, decadent, booze loving, narcissistic band, that's not fair when they obviously sung about other things other than drugs and booze. They obviously did other things. like Angie, Wild Horses, Miss You, As Tears Go By, Shattered, Paint It Black, Mother's Little Helper, and especially Gimme Shelter are definitely not songs about sex.

Sure, some of their songs are about sex, but so are some of the Beatles songs. I get tired over and over about that accusation. The Rolling Stones the ones that publicly did bad things, but the Beatles did things to. They basically were cynical, only dressed up for society. A box wrapped nicely with a bow, but inside, there's a pile of crap. They only looked nice for society. So stop accusing the Rolling Stones of of sexual, druggie behavior. A lot of Beatles fans are probably spluttering and insulting me if they read it and try to accuse me of not knowing anything and I'm just producing lies and all that, but that only makes me prove my point. Sometimes fans like to take things a little too serious.

Like on a website, I had read a small interview from Jack Bruce, singer of Cream, had taken a stab at Led Zeppelin. More as though for fun and some goofing around. But then a few days ago, I heard on the station I was listening to at 2 in the morning, that Led Zeppelin fans had sent death threats to him. That's taking it too far, I know that.

But, I just want to stop this stop.
