After having gotten the information i needed from Krytys, we all got back in the plane with Jaques body and flew back to New Orleans.
"YOU FREAKING b***h!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW COULD YOU KILL HIM!!! YOU DID THIS TO WEAKEN MY PACK!!!!! HE WAS OUR BEST FIGHTER!!!! DAMN YOU!!!!!!!!" Veronica screamed in my face when i brought her Jaques body. I scowled and my face filled with menace, I snarled and she backed off.
"Thank you. And I didn't kill him, he walked into a trap. He knew that coming with me could mean his death. Get over it. I loved him and i've lost him. I'll get over it. You can train someone else to be your best. Stop whining cause I don't want to hear it and I don't care." I said apathetically.
Veronica stood there silently her pack behind her my coven behind me.
Some of her pack snarled at me and my coven. Julien and Damien looked very down trodden.
"Do what you will with the body. If you need to contact me here is my cell number. You can call, txt, IM, or email me at anytime. Goodbye Veronica." I said after i had given her a slip of paper with my cell number on it. I walked out and my coven followed me.
Lea rushed up to my side.
"What now?" she asked.
"We continue the search." I said
"Where are we going?"
"Malaysia"
We all got on the plane and we took off. When we got off the plane the sun had just set and we walked swiftly towards the haven I knew was nestled in the depths of the city we were in.
"Come on, only a little farther. There is an abandoned building covering the entrance to a haven for all supernatural kind beneath the city. We will stay there untill I've found Iasaes." I told everyone.
We approached a building. To any mortal it would just appear a rotting broken down store front. To an immortalit was a place to hide and be safe. I could feel pulsations of life and music beneath my feet. I smiled and listened they were playing one of my favorite songs. I resisted the temptation to dance long enough to get down into the building and get us all rooms. After i rushed onto the dance floor and let all my anger and frustration flow out of me in my dancing.
I could feel dozens of eyes on me, circling round me, cheering me on. I smiled wickedly and closed my eyes dancing faster and faster. I could feel the crowd parting to make an aisle in front of me. Someone was walking toward me.
I slowed my dancing and opened my eyes as the music raced at a fast paced pulse around me. The dark room faded away as I saw who was walking towards me.
I could see him perfectly clearly. His flawless white skin. His dark brooding expression deepened by the dark black spikes of his short hair reaching towards the dark chocolate eyes. My body shivered and I came to a complete stop. He was tall and thin and had exceptionally long fingers. His full lips smiled at me as his eyes twinkled darkly.
He was an incubus. I knew it from the way he was making me feel that he was an old and practiced one. Nothing like Blake who was only coming into his powers when I met him. This Incubus knew what he was doing and he was doing it exceptionally well.
He parted his lips to speak.
"I am Josh Prideaux" he said to me.
"I'm Lamia Landry." I whispered.
He reached over and took my hand and kissed it. He let it drop slowly to my side. He leaned in closer to me and inclined his head towards me.
"Would you like to go get a bite?" he whispered into my ear.
"I...i...." i stuttered.
I could feel his hot breath caressing my skin. My eyelids fluttered and closed. My body shivered and the hair on the nape of my neck stood on end. My body started to lean into him.
"Yes." i whispered almost inaudibly.
He started to walk towards a dimly lit hallway. I followed and fell into step beside him. He reached back like he wanted to put his arm around my waist. I grabbed his wrist and wound his arm tightly around me, I slung his hand low around my hips. I smiled wickedly. We walked together slowly off into the darkness.
