Ok, so why he left I don't know. Do I care...? Maybe a little. I want him to stay with me alone forever but that won't work.
I get up and dress. I go looking for my coven. They are hanging out in the lounge talking in whispers wondering what happened to me.
"I'm right here and I'm fine." I said sneeking up behind Damien.
"HOLY s**t!!!!!!!!!!! DON"T DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he screamed falling backwards.
I burst out laughing. Everyone rolled there eyes or shook their heads or crossed their arms or some combo. I smiled.
"I think we need a break. I say we chill here for a month or two before resuming the search. I know I need to...relax..." i said
"I think that is a good idea." Lea said to me.
Everyone muttered agreement.
"Great! See ya!" I said turning on my heel to walk away. As I turned and began to walk looking back at them I walked into what felt like a wall.
I took a step back to see a demon before me. He smiled down at me in a sweet but wicked way. I retuned the smile. I stepped back again to take a good look at him and noticed he did the same.
He was nearly a foot taller than me and rather skinny. He had short, soft, full dirty blond hair that fell around his head in a mussed but sexy way. He had one strand of hair hanging in his face. His face was completely hairless and looked soft and smooth.
He was wearing a simple black t-shirt that exposed his strong arms. His skin was light and lustrous. He had deep grey eyes that reflected the blues and greens in the room around us, as they looked me up and down. He had on slacks that covered the top of his sneakers.
My lips parted and I was speechless. It was as though I was seeing an apparation of my long envisioned perfect man. All the sheilds in my mind fell down as my head spun out of control. I could feel myself freexing to the spot. He entered my mind and saw what i was seeing and thinking. He grinned widly.
"Well, well, well. Miss Lamia, would you like to accompany me to diner?" He asked me smiling sweetly again.
I tried to speak but moaned instead.
"I don't think she wanted to "relax". I think she is guy hunting." Julien whispered.
"I HEARD THAT!!!!" I yelled back at them.
Julien's eyes widened and he looked sorry. I rolled my eyes.
"I would love to acompany you...what's your name?" I ask
"All in time my dear. You will know in time." He says offering his arm. I take it and restore my mental sheilds. We walk towards the dining are of the Haven and I brace myself.
