The dark black walls, the curtains ppure midnight blue. The bed sheets pure midnight blue, the ceiling fan was light blue and dark blue. Everything was black or midnight blue. I awoke from my sweaty nightmare. I cannot get rid of that memory on how I became a monster... a vampire. All my life I've been living in a castle for I am the next king to take the throne of the Underworld. Might sound fun. But it's not. Lots of work and you need to find a fiancee right away. I already picked someone and she's going to be mine. For her she has no choice because her parents signed her away to me for her 18th birthday. I am 19 in human years but over 100 years old. Young, I know.
Tomorrow it is her time of leaving. Two weeks before her birthday. My sinister laughs carried out throughout the castle.

"Wake up Annie, it's your first day at school!" I groaned at the sound of my mother's voice. I put my face into my pillow and whined. After 2 minutes had past. I slowly got up and walked to my closet like a zombie. My room has light pink walls and my carpet was light blue. For my bed well it's light purple. I'd die if there's anymore girlish colors in my room. I pulled out my black & blue hoodie and a black tanktop along with black skinny jeans. I quickly took off my PJs and threw them back on my bed. I then pulled on my clothes for school. I walked into my bathroom and pulled out black eyeliner. I joyfully went ahead on applying a lot of liner and mascara. I brushed my black hair and brushed my bangs over my left eye.
I grabbed my backpack and slipped on my black and red converse then I started to run out. I pulled out my unbelievable pink razar and texted my best friend, Katie to pick me up.
Annie: Pick me up Katie.
I tapped my foot waiting for a reply after a minute later she answered.
Katie: Alrite Im almost there.Be ready my bish!
I laughed and waited. Shortly after she replied she pulled up and halted her car. I walked on the other side and buckled. Never trust Katie while driving. I slammed the door shut and yelled "CHARGE!" Katie pressed on the gas pedal making me fly back to my seat. I smiled with the great speed. She then slowed down. Fun was over.
"Dude first day of school," she said.
"I know, I'm excited but then again why should I? We're seniors captains of the High School."
"Annie, are you stupid?! Cute new guys! Probably your taste too. Unless you're still into that Jake kid."
I glared at her then nodded with agreement.
"I'm not into Jake anymore, Katie."
We reached the school and I came out of the car slamming it. I walked side by side with Katie. Soon our friends Demond and Triston came to join us.
"Sup, ladies," asked Demond while wrapping his arm around my shoulders then I did it to Tristion and Katie.
"Nothing much, so not excited for the new year."
"Me too," Tristion said in agreement with me.
"I'm excited, how come I'm the only one excited for this?" Katie asked.
"I'm excited too," replied Demond.
We all laughed at our sillyness. We all had the same class together except Demond. I walked to Algebra without even stopping to my locker. Lockers are for whimps. I grinned at my own insult. I then realized I use lockers too. I smacked my head and laughed at my stupidity. I sat down in the back of the classroom and pulled out my Algebra math notebook. Then it hit me. My birthday is coming up and this is going to be a long year. I sighed and layed my head on my desk. I soon dozed off from boredom.
