It was a dark and gloomy day.. The clouds were gray, molding into black and it was raining heavily, on and off. I was on a school bus with a class of high schoolers, and I was one of the younger students of the bunch. The whole bus was filled up, 2 to a seat and there was only one empty place, but just as I was going to sit down a spiteful looking girl threw a bunch of luggage on my chair and the bus started moving.. I clung to the seat in front of me and had to struggle not to fall as we accelerated. I then sat down between the backpacks, since it was really my only option and looked ahead to see my sister in the front, but I wasn't interested in said fact. It wasn't long before we arrived at a resting place and the teacher said we could visit the surrounding stores. It was a small town. It reminded me of the deserted towns in horror movies, but I wasn't at all afraid. I walked up the steps; there appeared to be a library to my left but I was headed for the mini mart. Once I was inside, I realized it had an abnormal layout. It looked like a normal house with pale pink plastered walls.. but it still had that dark feeling that lingered throughout the dream. I got busy looking through everything and found numerous packets of art paint, but there was too little of each color and I decided to buy a few lollipops that were made of Crunch candy chocolate instead of hard candy. I also couldn't help myself from buying a tiny dalmatian balloon on the end of a stick.. While waiting in line, I looked at a few awesome wolf paintings that featured a collage of white wolves in light blue snow scenes [Commentary: I wish I could paint really well. If I could, I'd so replicate them]. The owner came out from behind the register, because everyone had finished their purchases. "It's not for sale," he told me as I had lifted it up and was looking for a price tag. His tone wasn't particularly friendly. "I was only looking," I insisted with a nervous smile and started walking away to search around some more. He seemed to still be upset that I'd touched them and kept readjusting the painting for quite some while. By the time I'd bought my stuff, it was raining amazingly hard and it was very dark. I walked about looking for the bus but no car was large enough to pass as it. After walking throughout the whole parking lot, and successfully becoming drenched, I returned to the mini mart and called my sister. "We're already on the way back, we won't be able to come back to pick you up. But they might get you afterwords.." "Alright," I confirmed, and hung up; not really much to it. so I silently stood in one place, waiting. The store owner walked up to me and I actually took the time to look at his face. He appeared to be in his late 30's and came off as a person who didn't have many social situations in his life. "Is everything okay?" "Yeah but I can't get home." "If you have no place to go, you can stay here for awhile." I felt myself light up with happiness. I may have looked composed but I definitely wasn't enjoying the idea of being left behind.. "Thanks, I'll wait for another call for my sister though." In the meantime we had short pleasant conversation but after awhile of the the mood seemed to shift and just looked into each others eyes. Then he leaned in .. and we kissed as he embraced me. [Commentary: Blegh. I am ashamed of my own dream.] We seemed to have a stronger connection after that and he smiled more brightly, as did I as he began closing his store, which only ran during the daytime. It had been a few hours of talking and laughing when my phone rang again. "Hey, we can't get you tonight. You'll have to wait it out, okay?" my sister said. I was disappointed.. I wasn't planning on staying all night and where was she thinking I'd stay? I spoke a word or two and clicked the phone off. "I guess I'm staying," I spoke to the man. "Follow me," he said, in a friendly fashion, and motioned towards the back of the store, taking the lead. He opened a dead bolted door and lead me inside. So, this was actually a house! What stood in front of was an entire bedroom, but it seemed to have more of a motel layout. To the right was a queen bed with floral blankets.. just like a hotel.. and beyond the room itself was a very short hallway with a bathroom to the right and a wide open sink area to the left. Across from the room itself was another short hallway, which turned at a 90 degree angle, so I assume that's where the kitchen and laundry room were. "You should go clean up." I didn't question his advice and accepted the towel and extra clothes and entered the bathroom. There wasn't really a door.. I guess that's what you'd expect from someone who lives alone. I took my shower in peace; thank goodness he wasn't a pervert, and returned to the room where he was already fast asleep on his side of the bed.. I crawled into my side, seeing as there wasn't even any furniture that I could prioritize and comfortably fell asleep.
I also had a dream that Kyro sent me a letter in the mail. Gah, I miss my Gaia Daddy lol.
