Well, the official word came on Saturday.... The store I have been working at for the past ten months will be closing on December 12th, 2009. I felt so bad when the store manager who had only known about it seconds before us, started crying. He said he was proud to work with us and I felt even worse at that moment.
The good news is that they are making sure all of us are going to stores we want to transfer to. I picked Des Moines since it is close enough and yet if I get it, I can bring my camera along to start taking pictures before and after shifts. It is so pretty there since part of Puget Sound is behind the store.
