For some reason, I'm developing a dislike for the Beatles. I don't know why. I would like to know why, but I can't pin point it. I do love their music, but all this non stop Beatles talk is really getting on my nerves. It's like this with every band I like. I love it when they are talked about, but too much exposure really puts me at a dislike with them. There are so many Beatles songs being used in advertisements. I know that I would not like the covers. It's always missing something. Now the Stones, I love it. Then, it starts to get old. I mean, it just happens.

For "All You Need Is Love" it's the orchestra and the little harmony and the slowish singing that makes it for me. But it's the orchestra that mostly does it for me. And the harmonies. I just don't like the other version on TV. I just... don't.

Just like the "I Got You Babe" one. I love the tuba in it. I like how over the top-ish it goes. How the voice escalates. I just don't like that one. It's hard for me to find a great cover of something, although I like the cover Oasis did for "I Am The Walrus" and such. So, I do have hopes that there will be some type of good cover out there. All's I have to do is to find it.

Now, I have been hearing about this Susan Boyle. I've never heard of her. Now, I'm hearing about her cover of the Rolling Stones' song "Wild Hoses". So, naturally, I get curious and I go to see it. I listened to it. I thought it sounded to sweet. Too soft. I feel as though she did a good cover, but something is missing for me. In the original, Mick has a sense of vulnerability and a breaking point. I like how Mick has this emotional tinge to it. As if he'll break down and cry at any moment. What got me for the original was the vulnerability in his voice. How he sounded as though he would cry.

This version is good, I'll give her that. It's just that it's missing something. I like the lowness of her voice, it's just missing the emotional edge to it. The raw emotion. I need that emotion. It's quite a lovely version. It's just too sweet. I don't know if I could explain it now.

I also have been checking out some Stones video's and I like some. I like to watch all types. I like them. I especially love "She's So Cold" ver. from "Let's Spend The Night Together". I did a few screen caps and caught Ronnie jumping on Mick's back. I'll admit I thought it said "The day I topped" for Ronnie. I like to think that it got scenes from Mick and Ronnie's date. I did a sneaking suspicion that Keith was following all supper sleuth like, trying to make sure that Ronnie won't put the moves on Mick if they go to the bed.

I also am getting quite used to writing angst for the Stones. I'm writing more depressing stories for them. They usually end up with Mick getting some type of tragedy happen to him or something. I did write them cross dressing down in New Orleans(No pun intended) around Mardi Grass. But I had Brian involved in it. I had it around the middle of the year. The way they looked when they were performing "Sympathy For The Devil" during Frost. So, now all's I have to do is finish the last few pages. I also am writing a long a** story. It's 17 pages, front and back on college ruled paper. It's still growing. It might get longer than my Pete/Mick one.

Listening to random Stones video's.
