Notes: In which Vexen deals with annoying women and being a cat.
Catastrophe
He can hear nothing over Shera's laugther.
Bristling, Vexen presses his ears against the back of his head and hisses, "You'll have to speak louder, Miss Crescent, or else bludgeon Shera in the head with a blunt instrument until she shuts up." Unfortunately, it looks as if she can hardly contain herself either, and he bares his teeth in warning. That gets through to her, and Lucrecia leans over to the other brunette, tapping her on the shoulder. A few words later, and the imbecilic woman has managed to stifle her giggles, although they're still obvious, as are the tears in her eyes as she covers her mouth.
"So, high and mighty Vexen," she teases, emboldened by the current situation, "just how did you turn yourself into a cat?"
As unbelievable that statement is, it's true. Instead of tall and thin, what muscles he did have hidden underneath his ill-fitting coat, he's now extremely short, although still long and skinny by feline standards. His hair, or fur in the current case, is short save for his distinctive bangs, and as blond as ever. Needless to say, he is not a happy kitty. Narrowing his bright green eyes, Vexen just mutters, "I'll be damned if I can't find a way to blame this on Xigbar." His ears perk up as Lucrecia kneels in front of him, however, and he shifts awkwardly as she covers her mouth with one hand and stares at him. "...What?"
Blinking herself out of her daze, Lucrecia just makes a small sound. "Oh. Sorry. It's just..." Before Vexen has a chance to react, he's suddenly enveloped in her arms and pressed against her chest. "You're so cute as a kitty!" she squeals right next to his ear. Rather weakly, he struggles, only to give up quickly. Xigbar would claim the reason for this was because he was getting a face full of boob. Xigbar would also later find his favorite pair of pants burnt through with acid.
