I galloped along the icy bridge. It was growing dark. The trees were bare and looked like fingers in the moonlight. That wouldn't stop me, for I was Princess of Darkness and Night. I was also on a quest to go to Olympus. There, Athena and her father Zeus were waiting for me. I slowed to a canter. My curly red hair flowed behind me. Here it was: The doors to Olympus. "Lady Cerci," Zeus boomed, "welcome.You have the young child, I trust?" I nodded. A little blondie of a centaur trotted up to Athena.
"Well done, Lady Cerci," Athena congratulated. "A new demigod. You belong to Aphrodite, I remember," Athena had a new quizical expression, "but how did you become centaur?"
"I don't know how she did, Ma'am, but she was following me the whole time." I gasped.
And the story began.
