Let's think of the wavering millions...
Who need leading but get gamblers instead...
There were more sex scenes?

I'M USING IT AGAIN. IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL. IT ALWAYS GENERATES LITTLE GASPS FROM PEOPLE.

So I had gotten a great idea to look up a few things. I looked up James Fox because I was curious about what he was doing. But nothing much.

Then I got an idea to look up any pictures of Mick somehow kissing Keith. Then looked up androgyny and I was, after maybe a few pages, directed to a few articles on "Performance". I still hear about the rumors of some being cut out because the footage was a bit too dramatic. So while I was reading through it again.

Admittedly, I had already read through this before, but this had struck my attention again. In the 80s, it was released on VHS, but had some voice overs because the people who serviced it out thought that people wouldn't be able to understand their cockney accents. So here is the quote:

Quote:

I was really disappointed to see that the Warner DVD was only one minute longer then my 1985 video. Supposedly - depending on what information you read - 15 to 20 minutes of footage is missing from the film. Where is it? From most accounts I’ve read or heard, this extra footage seems to mainly contain scenes between Turner (Mick Jagger) and Chas (James Fox) which may have showed them being more intimate including sharing an on screen kiss, as well as a more explicit sex scene between Turner, Pherber (Anita Pallenberg) and Lucy (Michèle Breton).

I know about the Turner and Pherber scenes. It had shown up (apparently) at a pornography festival in Holland. I hear it got a prize. I know that Keith was mighty jealous of 'em. Anita took great joy in making Keith jealous. I think I smell a story coming on.

Now, I was (obviously) very interested in the Turner and Chas scenes, seeing as I'm a Chas/Turner junkie and I've had a few off dreams of them. No hints or nudging. I don't think that there was sex (although it could have been VERY possible seeing that they were all off their heads on drugs and other substances. Anita thought she could hide her little heroin addiction, but everyone knew about it.)

I did read a few times that Donald had said that Mick and James (Chas) had been hanging out and that Marianne was slightly attracted to James' girlfriend. They had spent time together for many months. James had met Mick in '67 at a Stones show in Rome. They spent much time together and that pretty soon, in Nicholas' words, 'blossomed into a little romance.' I read that Mick actually wanted to get James in the sack, but that part I'm not sure about.

Edit: I also have heard that James became a bit obsessed with Mick. Instead of his character in the movie who became obsessed with Mick's character, James began to become that way in real life. They got into their characters so much that they pretty much acted that way towards each other in real life. James spent so much time becoming immersed in his role by spending time with the local gangsters. For three months.

He even went to the Kray Twins who were tailors for the mob. Even Mick spent time being a cross between Keith Richards and Brian Jones with a parts of himself integrated. When you end up watching the movie, the drugs are real. Mick and Anita spent time actually spiking James' drinks and teasing him about his upper class background. Pretty much, they're all stoned throughout the movie. James and Mick ended up on a 12 hour acid trip.

I would have liked to see that footage, but I know that would have spawned MANY stories from my mind. And that I would have been very focused on that scene and pairing. So maybe the scene where Turner wakes up and looks besides him to see Chas actually had come from. Maybe they cut it just in time to stop that scene. Then comes in Lucy.

LOL, I tagged it 'gays'. Also, boob grab.

Chas and his woman, Turner.

Maybe, just maybe, it was from this. So I need to find this footage. Mostly to actually see if it is true and could confirm the words of 'a little romance'.

No music. Just the sounds of the last song on the radio, which is a Stones song "It's Only Rock 'N Roll (But I Like It)".
