I'm sure I'm not the only one who's experienced this problem. While loading on Firefox, zOMG will suddenly halt to a stop, and stay there no matter what [unless I decide to dust off Chrome and risk epic buttonmash lag]. I know it isn't my connection being bad, since I'm the only one on the home router, and the router itself is five meters away at most [minimal interference due to doors and such, too]. Under normal conditions, it only takes zOMG a minute or two to load, and the bars progress smoothly [as in, the rate per time interval is the same, as certain pars prefer loading in chunks and others filling up pixel by pixel].
However, I can leave zOMG to "load" for more than 5 minutes, and no matter what, a stuck bar will always stay stuck. Regardless of refreshing, clearing cache, and what have you, it just refuses to work on Firefox.
So, this journal entry will chronicle times when I log onto zOMG from now on. Why? I've noticed irregularities in the problem, too. At times, I'll be playing just fine, and then switch areas only to fall in the trap. Other times I'll just be out from the get-go. And the rest, zOMG goes like nothing's wrong at all. So I'll check to see if it's a daily thing, something to do with the servers, or problems with the particular build.
