Dark Vs. Therrik #2
Dark let her sight wonder to a shadowy corner where, to normal eyes, would look like a huge pair of combat boots, but she knew better. Her eyes adjusted to the lighting and noticed the figure in the shadows with a cup of ale hugged by his huge hand. She could see his delightfully bright red eyes perfectly, and his devilish grin. She smiled at him, her wicked smile; fangs exposed a bit as she slowly approached him making her boots ring at the heel. Ding, ding, ding. She was at his table, in front of him.

A smile spread across her face now, she could see him clearly. Long dark hair, so dark it almost seemed blue when the light hit it. The tips of his long hair were as red as hells fire. It lay on his bare chest. His face had the kind of eyes that a normal woman would be trapped under forever. One scar across his collar bone indicated a hunter maybe a warrior. Caused by a blade. This Dark knew well. Long bulky legs fitted comfortably in steel toed combat boots, black like hers, not leather. No shirt to cover his perfect marble white torso. On his belt, a big silver skull with ruby eyes, like his own. Comfy as you could possibly imagine, on that belt rested his two katana swords. They stood out hanging there next to his pants that were as dark as the night.

“Master of swords I see” Rang in her voice, she said this matter of factly.

She motioned the bar tender with her right hand to bring her two more glasses of ale. He gave a deliciously dark chuckle as she sat down in an old dusty chair across from him. Smiled her sweet smile and looked at him in the face. He was no fool he would not meet her gaze.

“Yes you could call me that my lady. I much rather you call me Tehrrik dear” and he smiled lightly at her.

“Oh why Tehrrik it is then, warrior” Dark said and he smiled looking at her from under his eyes lashes

The bar tender, a fat greasy old man, maybe 40 years old came up, with an annoyed look on his face and placed the glasses in the middle of the table.

“Here you go” he said in a voice that showed as much annoyance as his face.

“Oh…” the bartender gasped lowly when he took a good look at them.
With now wide eyes stared at them. She did not let it faze her that he would not look at her, while the bar tender quickly stared as he slinked away.

“Oh where did my manners go? I am Dark! Daughter of the moon” she said in her unworldly chime.

There was silence for a full two minutes he kept count in his head. He looked her over and knew she was a huntress. Tehrrik could see the daggers in her boots and when he saw her fangs decided no eye contact.

“Very nice to meet you Dark” he said in his deep voice that had an under hint of menace in it.

Grabbing the glass of ale he looked at her up and down.

“Thank you my lady, for the ale” he bowed his head slightly.

She had been expecting that voice but its intensity took her back, but she was skilled. After two quick seconds quickly her face regained her composure.

“You are very welcome good sir. You do realize that I use the term ‘good’ very loosely” Again, tried to catch his gaze
