As I woke up from my sleep, I quickly grabbed my bag and headed towards the Valley Windworks to find and help the little girls father. Once I reached the building, I noticed that the door was guarded by one of the strangely dressed men. I had little choice. I then walked up and started to talk to the man and he then challenged me to a pokemon battle. My newly trained TORRENT made easy work of him and his weak pokemon. Once he was defeated, the man muttered something about the flower fields of Floroma and then ran in to the Windworks, locking the door behind him. I decided to check the fields for a way into the building. When I arrived at the blooming fields, two more of the odd men were trying to steal honey from the man who made it. I got frustrated and defeated them both in battle. Once they were defeated they both ran away and I couldn't help but laugh. The man thanked me and gave me some of his honey free of charge. As he was handing it over, I noticed a key on the ground and the honey man told me that it looked like the Valley Windworks key. I don't know how it got there, but I took the key and returned to the building and unlocked the door. There was a few of the men in odd clothes around, but I beat them all as easily as the first one. At the very center of the Windworks stood a woman wearing similar clothes as all the others, but hers were a little different. With her was a creepy looking scientists and another scientist who seemed hard at work. As I walked up to them the woman started talking about some scheme and how they needed the energy from the plant. I made a deal with her. We'd battle to see who would have to leave. She was more difficult then the others ansd she almost fainted my BOLTY, but I switched out and defeated her with HIITA. Once I beat her, she told mer her name and the name of their group. She was a Team Galactic CO and her name was Mars. She left as promised and I too kept my promise to the little girl...
After that side journey, I decided that my best bet would be to leave the town and head on to the next city. If my map was right I'd have to pass through Eternia Forest and then I'd be in Eternia City, home of the next pokemon gym. Of course before leaving I made sure to heal all my pokemon at the pokemon center and then I picked up a few supplies from the local poke mart. I then headed out and battled a few trainers on the way like always and trained my pokemon all along the route to the forest. As the forest came into view, I noticed a girl with green hair who waas hesitating to go into the forest. As I approached her, she turned around and smled sweetly. She told me that she wanted to get through the forest, but was too frightened to go it alone. I agreedto take her with me and she told me that she'd keep my pokemon at full health. The forest, kept most of the sunlight away, but there was enough light to find my way through. Togeteher with Cheryl, I battled my way through the forest and then as thanks for helping her through, Cheryl gave me a Soothe Bell. We bid each other farewell and then I headed towards Eternia City. The first thing I did was head to the pokemon gym to battle the gym leader. Gardenia proved to be n o match for me and my HIITA. I was quickly admited the victor and received my second, out of eight, gym badge. Afetr defeating the leader, I headed to the pokemon center to heal my pokemon, but on the way there I ran into Leon whotalked me into going to see the statue of the legendary pokemon that was here in the city. As we approached the statue we noticed the same man from Lake Verit back home. Once again he shrugged us aside and then Leon ran away talking about straegies on pokemon battle. I sighed and headed back to the pokemon center. In the building I met a gorgeous woman with long blonde hair. She wore all black and claimed to be a pokemon trainer just like me. I knew I had seen ehr some place before, but I didn't want to seem rude. She introduced herself as Cynthia and then told me to give my regards to Professor Rowan. The whole meeting confused me, but I agreed and then we parted ways. I healed my pokemon and then headed out of the healing facility...
The nurse at the pokemon center had told me that many people were having there pokemon stolen by Team Galactic and I decided that I might as well head up to their building and see if I could rescue those pokemon. As I approached Team Galactic headquarters, I noticed that the building wasn't very large, so I knew it wouldn't take too long. There was only about four floors and each floor had a few grunts who were easy to deal with. When I reached the top floor I saw the bike shop owner arguing with a girl in a fancier sety of Galactic clothes. I guessed that she was another CO and my guess was right. She challenged me to a battle and this one proved difficult. Her SKUNTANK took some power to get down, but with the strength of HIITA it proved less difficult then I first thought. Once she was defeated, Jupiter told me that their boss had been stgudying myths and that he will one day rule the world. I laughed to myself at the thought of such an intense idea. It would never work. The bike shop owner thanked me and told me to head to his shop, where he would award me for my services. I agreed and the two of us headed t his shop, where he gave me a bike, free of charge. I thanked him and headed on my way. Once outside, Cynthia came up to me and gave me a pokemon egg and then vanished again. This trainer confused me, but I wasn't going to refuse to take the egg. Seeing how dark the sky was getting, I decided it would be ebst to camp out for the day...
