As I woke the next morning, I made sure my pokemon were well taken care of and then headed south of Eternia for Cycling Road, which would take me to Mt. Coronet. During the trip, I battled afew other cyclists and defeated them with ease. As I reached the end of cycling road, I decided that I'd check out the rumors about the caves below the road. Inside the caves was pretty dark, but I could see well enough to make my way through the caverns. While spelunking, I was attacked by a wild GIBLE, who proved to be no match for my TORRENT. Once it was weak enough, I caught the dragon-type pokemon and nicknamed it CHOMPSKY. Once I made it through the cave I returned for a short stop in Oreburgh City to heal up my pokemon and rest. Once that was done, I head on my way for Mt. Coronet and as I was heading in I met up with Lucas who gave me a Vs. Seeker and the Dowsing Machine app for my poketch. We talked for a little while after that and then decided it would be best for both of us if we headed out in different groups. Lucas left first and then I took the short path through Mt Coronet and then made it to Hearthome City. Just upon entering the city, a BUNEARY ran up to me and then it's trainer ran up and thanked me for stopping it. I just waved it off, but the girl, who was named Keira and was apparently a judge at the Contest Hall, told me to come to the Contest Hall later where she'd properly thank me. I agreed since it seemed it would be easier. It kinda made me laugh how people always seemed to want to thank me or give me things. First thing first, I headed to the cities pokemon center to heal my pokemon to full health and then I headed to the Contest Hall. When I entered Keira noticed me and stopped talking to my mom. When I first saw my mother I was a little surprised, but over time it was explained to me that she was once a contest champion and that she was visiting the Hall as a vacation. I was then invited to take part in a contest, but I declined, but reasurred Keira that I'd come back in the future and perhaps try then. My mother gave me a dress for when that time came and then I noticed an odd looking woman dressed in all purple. As I approached her, she started speaking in french and english, and then told me to come to the gym. I wondered how she knew that I was a challenger, but put that aside...
The gym was awkward and dark, but I made my way through defeating the trainers with BOLTY and then Fantina proved slightly more difficult with her MISMAGIUS, but my TORRENT and HIITA took her down. I then receieved my thrid badge and was awarded a TM for my victory. I then decided that now would be the best time to train my CHOMPSKY and headed out, stoppinf off at the pokemon center before heading out to train...
