Rp crashers are those noobs who get on Gaia, and join as many Role-plays as they can then proceed to make shitty character profiles that can later allow them to be come invincible, or they get on to fall in love. but they go on posting crappy posts and end up breaking the original story usually so bad that everyone cant stand it and leaves killing the Rp in cold blood. Seriously Has anyone been part of an open role-play for more than 100 pages of posts It is really rare to be part of something good and have it ether broken, or deserted after a while. Every time i join a role-play that i think is going to be good it fails to launch past 20 pages. For the good Role players out there this is so infuriating. You spend time creating a character and sub plot that can make your character interesting only to post again and see no one post after you for weeks.
The reason why i got into this rant was because i recently joined an Rp that had a really good story/plot to it and it strayed away from the normal litter of garbage on the forum board. How often do you see Mecha Rp's? for someone like me it makes me jump for joy because i like that stuff. Anyways i signed up and then figured out that to old Rp buddies from another, past role-play had been in the list. they were very good at roleplaying but once again another good role play had failed to launch. the reasons were very clear the first 2 people other than Op were both enemies to the Op. BUT, stick with me through this and you'll see what went wrong. The first one on his first post instantly wakes up and then boom he knows where the character he was supposed to hunt down is. Just like that meets the girl. and instead of sticking to his role of a military lieutenant. He falls in love with her and helps her out by fighting off another Rper who was in the militia as well. this was all within the first 3 pages. to make matters worse the other guy is a god modder who can auto hit. anyways this continues and then other characters start to appear. Who automatically know and interact with the Op who the stories main character is. No plot build just senselessness this continues for a while also creating another god modder seeing as the other one quit after he got beaten by another god modder that actually makes 3 god modders i mean REALLY?! Jesus get outta here. later on two people join who actually have some experience and start building there sub plot by being bounty hunter rivals. but before they can do much the Rp ends and i join in the latest. after my to consecutive posts there seems to be no one there anymore the Op stopped because she got bored the Rp ends on the end of page 10.
Again i don't mind this stuff at all. But when it happens to every single one you've been in it get really REALLY ANNOYING!!!

Dreamscape: Eclipse Ended in 2 pages when Op left it.
Blackthorn Academy Everyone left leaving me and Op and all she wanted was romance.
Darkened forest This one seemed to be going good and i met the coolest people here but everyone ended up leaving.
Just try and push me This had one of the coolest story ever based off the movie Push and seemed fine. It flopped when Op left in 3 pages.
these are only a few notable ones i still have on my Subscriptions because i thought they were the most notable. All of them have ended within the most 36 pages other than that one they all had 10 or less pages.
Basicly its hard to find something that isn't full of idiots and if yo find one congrats to the gold rush.
