Hello Hello! It's been quite some time since my last entry I know.. I've been forgetting/neglecting/not feeling like posting up a new journal entry, but at least there has been a fair deal that has gone on (relatively speaking of course) in the months that it's been since I made my last entry.

Let's see.... I myself have been loaded down with a monstrous workload in order to graduate (and I needa work more on that sweatdrop I keep not doing anything.. haven't turned in a module in a really long time.)... but if I can get myself back into the groove of things and start getting stuff done, I should be able to graduate with little trouble (I'm doing exceptionally well in my Direct Instruction classes).

Also, I've made plans to attend my first anime convention! I'm so excited! In May, a convention called Otafest is held here in Calgary every year, and this year, I will finally get to go to it. I even have a cosplay costume in mind.. I just needa wait a little bit until I have some cash to get it paid for and such. I'll be going as Vash the Stampede... and I'll likely end up wearing the coat all the time, not just at the convention. It's a damn cool coat.

From what I've been hearing, Brandi's doing pretty good at her job back at her home... we're both saving money for when I move down this summer so we can get married and begin our lives together. I'm also planning to visit her over Spring Break ( crying but I can only stay for a week while I'm there) and I absolutely can't wait to see her again... I'm on pins and needles... and I just know I'm gonna completely smother her with hugs and kisses when I see her again.... I miss her lots crying

Anyways, before I get off on a weepy tangent (which I'm sure you all love reading so very much rolleyes ), I'll go into some good news. I've ordered my first ever DVD box set... I'll be receiving Box 1 of Ranma 1/2 TV sometime within the next couple weeks... I personally wanted to get a few other shows, but I couldn't get any boxes of those.. however, Ranma is a good show, and I am glad to be finally getting some episodes to call my own.

Also, in April my friend Kevin is getting married! To a woman from Texas no less xd Something about us Calgarian men... drives those Texas women crazy. I guess it's because us Canadian men are such gentlemanly goofballs. TAKE SOME LESSONS BOYS, ALL THE WOMEN IN YOUR COUNTRY LIKE MEN FROM OTHER NATIONS!!! xd Just messin'. Although it is a funny coincidence that she's from Texas too, ne?

Interesting thing: A while ago I sent in a questionnaire to the US Consulate in Calgary to see if I was eligible for citizenship (because my mom is from California).... the response I received was another questionnaire... stapled to an application for a US Passport and Social Security Number! So, I just need to secure some materials and some information, fill out my forms a bit, and jam on down to the US Consulate to sign in front of a Consular Officer. Then I play the waiting game a bit... but it looks so far like I just might be getting my citizenship!!! whee Which means I won't be an illegal when I'm living in the US and trying to work there xd

Anyways, I needa get in touch with my dad sometime to discuss some stuff (including him taking me to get a suit for Kev's wedding... and eventually, my own whee ). I hope to have lots of news sometime soon (and none bad, at that!), and will be sure to update within a couple months, hopefully with lots of good news about my citizenship, my visit with Brandi, Kevin's wedding, Otafest '06 (Which I hope to have photos with), and much more! Edit: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Almost ALL of my previous entries have DISAPPEARED!!!!!! WHERE THE HELL DID THEY GO?! I wanted to read over the entries from when I was just getting together with Brandi.. I like to reminisce like that.. brings a smile to my face crying It's not fair!!!!!!!!!!!!! b*****d MACHINE!
