I think senioritis is finally setting in. I still have some homework to do, but I'm too busy looking on eBay for ukuleles to really care.
Seriously, I've been honestly wanting to learn to play the ukulele. It seems like such a fun, cute instrument to play! It has a nice, happy sound too, which I like.
Even though my dad thinks it's going to end up being one of those things I start and eventually give up on, I'm really motivated to do it! He's also really worried that it's going to be a lot of money, seeing as how much he's paid for instruments for me in the past. There's one ukulele that I've really had my eye on;
It's from KALA's Curly Mango series, I think? It's so pretty~
I've seen some online for around $250, which isn't too bad, I haven't been able to find as good quality at a lower price...
Through learning the clarinet, I feel confident in my ability to move on to a string instrument. It will be a new musical endeavor for me! When high school ends, I don't want to just give up on music. So let's hope I can do it!
