Havent written here in a while...
But seriously, why is it so easy for someone to argue against a compliment these days?
Is it seriously that easy to take a compliment and turn it into "RAAAAH THAT MEANS IM UGLEH"? I mean holy s**t, calm down. Its just a compliment.
I think I look good when I try to look good. I think that when people notice that, it means they're giving me a compliment. And noone was shitting on your opinion by calling you the supposed worst person in the world, we just didnt understrand how it took so little to piss you off, and send you in the other direction. In short, you're being a bit of a crazed b***h over it. I understand that different people take different comments different ways. But you appear to overreact to everything, and to argue for the sake of arguing. So voice your opinion, quit trying to make the OP look like an a*****e, and move on.
By the way, what's with women not giving a s**t about what they look like, in a bad way? Im not saying you need to cake on 10 pounds of makeup and slip on stilettos whenever you leave the house. But when someone has clearly put the time and effort into his or her appearance, I like what I see, and I even compliment them. Not because I think they're ugly, need makeup, and could never go with the natural look, but because I think they look good, so I give them a compliment. Last time I checked, "Nice skirt" or "Your hair is so pretty" did not equate to "Well, you look like s**t all the time, but this makes you look passable."
Do I live in the decade of butthurt? Whats with all the butthurt? There's a difference between debate, and bullshit.
